That does not mean those players will be in the game. They are on the leader boards for various statistics just like players have been in the past in franchise mode and such.

They mentioned those werent real legends. Those were just their stats so you can have an idea of where you rank in comparison to them.

In the Little Things stream on Twitch at around the 6 or 7 minute mark is where they specifically say they are NOT legends if you must hear it for your self

Doesn't mean they"won't" be in the game, just means they aren't confirmed. Though I would be very surprised if Sosa were in it.

They can get right outa here with Flashback players that only have a couple years under their belt.. Boggarts? Archer? Schwarber? These guys could flameout tomorrow, and aside from a handful of fans from their specific teams, nobody would remember them in 5 years. Any throwback\flashback\etc worth putting into the game should be a player that been successful for more than a stretch of a couple years. And ^those 3 shouldn't warrant anything but a live card..

I'm pretty sure most of those guys will not be in the game... those are just guys from past years that they are able to name since I'm guessing they didn't have a Bonds situation that led them to leaving the MLBPA because Bonds wanted control of his own licensing, they don't need licensing to place the names in game but I'm guess they just don't want any issues with Bonds by putting his name in the game... for example for HR's since Barry Bonds left MLBPA those records just say San Francisco Giants in MLB The Show 16 but there is also career stolen bases and career runs that list Rickey Henderson who is not in MLB The Show 16. Also Cy Young is not in the game and his name is listed as the career wins record holder. It will be cool to see some of those guys make the game but going on prior years most won't make it into the game.

A flashback goes back to a single year they were good... if boggarts were to have hit .400 2 years ago, and then tanked, why would you not want a flashback to some crazy ass year when he was nothing short of unstoppable?

Then sure, if any one player who breaks a record or does something almost impossible then he can have a FB card. Because winning 20, batting 400, getting 200 hits, etc is special. Nothing Schwarber, Boggarts, or Archer has done to this point warrants 'special recognition', other than the fact that they upandcomers.

Anybody have a screen shot of the Damon card? Curious if they have a rookie card for when he was here in KC or if it's just a FB of his time in Boston or New York?

The diamond 90 Schwarber card is one that makes me laugh, yes it's a moment type card and the rating isn't reflective of the actual player but really a 90 overall.
