    SDS please help

SDS please help me find an answer to a problem that i am facing which is inconsistent pci feedbacK

Here is an example look at how well that ball was hit almost a home run and look at the poorly placed pci and timing.

    https://youtu.be/xi0dOqFwok4

Same with this one. Pci places on the thin part of the bat. Poor timing. Resulting in a well hit ground ball for a hit.

    https://youtu.be/cDJfwZvsNgs

And this one almost dead center the ball is a hair away from the sweet spot of the bat almost bullseye with good timing resulting in a pop up. Granted the pci doesnt show green but neither do the ones from previous videos. So i ask myself, what am i doing wrong? Is there a glitch within my game? And if there is how can i fix it? Thank you in advance.

The pitching used to always be the perfect game of cat and mouse, hitting always went from too easy to too difficult and vice versa. NOW it just feels like I'm rolling the dice, way too often, on both sides of the plate.

Ideally, the pitch and the swing should be independent of each other and physics should determine the path of the ball off the bat. I know it's a video game, but it's not OOTP. User input should be worth more than anything.
This has been my argument since day one. You nailed it. I couldnt have said it any better.

It's crazy. Several times, I have hit moon shots on a center curveball when I moved my PCI all the way down, and the ball is barely at the top of the recticle on the feedback ... barely. Then the next inning, you turn on an up an in fastball perfectly and get "a hiiiiiigh fly ball". It would make more sense if the results of those two swings were reversed.

That box is helpful in numerous ways. And should be used as "feedback" to help you improve your game. What good is it if its giving you bad information?

Where your ball hits the bat and your timing and batters rating determines where and how far the ball will go. The pci feedback box just gives you an idea of where the ball landed in the strike zone and where you swung. Maybe it's not 100% correct.

And again. Here is a more detailed analysis of the wild pci results.

-Batting is my created player 99 contact both sides, 99 power both sides, 99 vision.
-pitching is johnny cueto. Pitch number 24, 3rd inning.

Result of good pci placement with good timing = popup

    https://youtu.be/rReP6NwXwoQ

-Batting is jose reyes live series card. Contact vs Lefties 73, power vs lefties 41, vision 68.
-pitching Tj House, 2nd inning, pitch number 18.

Result of pci placement not nearly as close as first video and pci is underneath ball and early swing = no doubt homerun

    https://youtu.be/T0LryJvksRo

    How are these results taken?🤷🏻*♂️

Cannot tell who you popped up with on last one, obviously hitters contact, power and vision ratings along with pitchers ratings and energy come in to play. I am not sure what those numbers are so just by looking at a small piece of the equation hard to say if it seems fair or not.

Second video wasn't bad either. It definitely wasn't great, but if you had to be smack dab on the ball every time to get a hit none of us would stick around. Its hard to hit as it is, sometimes you get the perfect location and perfect timing and you get rewarded with an out. Other times your pci is nowhere near the ball and your five minutes too late to swing, yet Reggie Stocker magically sends the ball into the neighboring state.

Your feedback is fine. Welcome to the unpredictability that is The Show.
Thats what im complaining about the inconsistencies are way too wild.
