I play with balks on and I would say 50% of my wins come from opponents sudden lost of connection because they balk my guys in which is why I usually end up with a crazy run to hit ratio such as 3:1 or 4:1 so when they balk my guys in they just quit because they can't figure the BALK. But when pitching select your pitch and you should see your pitcher get set(before he winds up)

I get on the mic before the game and tell them how not to balk, "just select your pitch and give your pitcher just 2 more seconds to set and throw", no balk ; )...

In MLB12 theShow: If a user/host has it enabled there is only one type of Balk called. It's more or less known as a "Bounce", meaning while on the mound facing a batter and a runner is on base you have to come in a stop position before delivering the pitch. If not then you will be considered quick pitching and the umpire will call a balk on you.

What about stealing bases? If the pitcher doesn't mound and throw 1st base then I think it is a balk.
