I really hope they do this but me being a die hard Braves fan i think it would be a nice tribute by Sony to put Chipper Jones on the cover of MLB 13, Madden did it with Favre (before they knew he was coming back), and i think it would be cool to honor the Hall of Fame career of one of the best 3rd basemen and switch hitters in history. Just an idea.

Cool idea, but I don't really dig Chipper being on the cover. I'm actually indifferent about it, but he is a legend and it's a great honorary thing to do.

However, my vote is with Bryce Harper!!! (I know you'll just hate that, lol)

I have seen several discussions on who should be on the cover and I have a great idea. Instead of a player how about put a picture of a stadium, I am thinking of maybe classic stadiums, like maybe for 2013 it would be Polo Grounds from NY, 2014 could be Caminsky Park in Chicago, etc

Yeah I think its cool with Chipper Jones but then my vote goes to Bryce Harper, Stephen Strasburg, or my player 2011 N.L. MVP Ryan Braun. To me Braun deserves it because he won the MVP and he was bailed out by Adrian Gonzalez. Otherwise Strasburg, Harper, or Braun. I would love to see Ryan Braun be the cover athlete because he is putting up MVP numbers again!!!!!!

I was going to put Braun but I think people would hate the cover just becuase of his last offseason. By the way, he is having a phenominal year. Could even be first back to back MVP since Pujols(Pujols was even better those years, I guess Albert being on the BIGS kept him from being on the show or something like that).

mmm i respect chipper but not to the point of having him in the cover... hamilton, harper or trout should make the 2013 cover...

@jxn61 braun dont deserve the cover because we all know he's putting mvp numbers the same way Melky Cabrera was, if you know what i mean!!!

I don't think Harper is a good idea, he is too polarizing. Too many people think he is an arrogant p-u-n-k. I'm not sure that having him on the cover would actually hurt sales, but I know where I'd get my new dart board picture from.

If any of the new guys deserve the cover it would be Trout. He's having a much better year than Harper, and I haven't heard a negative thing about him...

I know but I was just a thought and maybe I favor the N.L. but to me every player should be respected and now to me it doesn't matter who is the athlete. Man you all hate Braun then now you feel that Braun should have been suspended like Cabrera. I know I'm in shock too but still it happens to pro players so stop hating on Braun!
