Cool Swing at CB or Lay off?

So we can all say that we have been swinging alot at the CB in the dirt and 90% it is right, so lets just lay off the CB all the time. Most likely they can't hit the zone so if your opponent throws it look at it lol.

Agree?

I tried this philosophy and didn't have success but I believe my opponent built his Diamond Dynasty pitcher completely around his tactic, cranking up the control on his CB.

I layed off the CB in the dirt and entirely and then he started painting the bottom of the strikezone with it.

I don't take all curveballs but I do take most low curveballs. If a guy is able to consistently hit his spots at the knees with low curveballs I just tip my proverbial cap to him.

I wouldn't suggest taking all curveballs because you'd miss out on some easy homerun balls if you did. It's fairly easy to tell the difference between a hanger that stays thigh high and one running towards the dirt.

For some reaon I have tremendous success against CB almost in the dirt. Not the ones that bounce 58 foot but ones that break low low and lower. This doesn't work for center swingers and if you use Guess Pitch you will whiff almost certainly. But I play in DD and train my plate vision up high and bring the PCI down low and crush all day long. And yes, I strike out too, but I can do that on changeups, fastballs, sliders, etc. Low curveballs are a blast, as a pitcher and a batter.

You hang em, we bang em!

Try as much as possible to lay off of them for an inning or so. Every pitcher is different, so when playing a new game lay off of them for a bit and just find the release and break point on that certain pitchers CB.

Once to get use to a certain pitcher, you will begin to notice when one is going to stay in the zone. And one that paints the bottom of the zone is very hard to make solid contact, but when you see one that is going to be thigh high or, preferably higher, YAK that ****** in the seats!
