I play franchise mode. I love it. I play auto fielding and throw decision on. Well I used to leave the throwing to my team. But, in the last week I've had the same thing happen three times and I just cant take it anymore!

Here's the situation: Obviously, I'm in the field. There's a guy on second and a grounder is hit to third. Instead of looking the runner back to second and throwing to first, the third baseman has thrown to second on every occasion, trying to get the guy returning to that base...................EVEN WITH TWO OUTS. It makes no sense!! I'm 48 years old and have watched a lot of baseball and I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE.

I have two teams in franchise mode. One third baseman is Chipper Jones and the other is Scott Rolen...................two of the smartest fielders at the position. It simply makes no sense to me that these guys would ever, ever make that fielding decision.

Anyway, I've had it and I'll be making my own throws moving forward.

I know a lot of you are thinking I should be doing all of the defensive stuff myself but that's not the point. If the game has the throwing "on" option, it should be realistic.

the computer dont use logic it will always take the easy out... i always do the move you suggest because i control my fielders.

Even then, the fielding is probably still the buggiest part of this game.
