Question Clutch and Durability

I wonder What does Clutch and Durabiltiy mean.I think clutch means getting a hit with runners one base and the higher the number the better.Durability I thinks mean a player does not get tired fast and also the higher the number the better.

You pretty much answerd your own question.

Durabaility is pretty much self-explanitory. The more durable you are the less likely you will get hurt and have to go to the DL. Which means you'll obviousely get to play pretty much everyday. IMO that's one of the most important attributes you need to fill because if your hurt you can't play. If you can't play you can't earn training points.

Clutch, and this is just my interpretation of the meaning, is pretty much how well your player performs in stressful situations, how well he keeps his cool with the game on the line, etc.... Again, this is just my thoughts on batting clutch.

Plate Vision is how well your player picks up the ball coming out of the pitchers hand. Seeing the pitch, where the pitch is located and putting the bat on the ball.

Plate Discipline, at least to me, is one of those attributes that kinda matters but it kinda don't matter. The only thing i've ever found it useful for is with check swings. Think about it. Basically we hit for ourselves, so it's up to us to be patient at the plate and only swing at pitches that are in the zone or at least something we can put into play. That's called plate discipline in my book. Plate discipline according to SCEA? I have no idea that's something you'll have to ask them. Personally this is one of those attributes we probably could do without. But since it is in the game i always just go ahead and put points in it anyway.

Hope this helping you!!

Plate discipline helps determine how well your batter is able to hold up when he checks his swing.

Plate Vision I imagine is pretty much a SIM stat. As a human player, you choose whether or not to swing at a ball or strike.

Durability actually has TWO functions. Someone answered that it affects possibility of injury and that is correct. It also affects how fast your player fatigues... I know because I adjusted it for Jemile Weeks who basically never takes a day off but only had 50-60 durability.

Let's say you simulate an entire season. The higher the discipline the more walks you have. The higher your vision is the less you strike out.
So think: vision-strikeouts disc-walks

Question

I would like to know more about clutch? I think it doesn't matter when in the game, it could 3rd inning or the 8th inning if he is a good clutch player they might succesed with runners in scoring position.

As best as I understand it, clutch improves the chance of getting a hit instead of lining, grounding, or flying out.

Clutch is how well your player does in a game changing situation. For instance your team is behind one run and your player comes to bat with bases loaded and 2 outs. With your clutch attribute having high number you will have a higher likelihood of getting a hit and driving in the tieing run then when it is low. Disc helps you to control the bat on check swings.
