after a hit is there any kind of speed burst button in mlb12 the show to get runner to first base as soon as possible. i understand that some players are slow naturally. I am referring to the faster runners, i see that sometime they are running kinda slow to first and are much faster between the bases when stealing. anyone else see this too?

no there is no "speed burst" thing, and remember its not the same to run out of the batting box that to steal a base.
when out of the box they are standing in batting position and go on to run... when stealing they are leaning toward the base which make their running a bit quicker. |

I think what he means is to get the player to hustle down the line to try and beat the throw at first instead of jogging. And I agree, sometimes there are plays where the batter jogs instead of trying for the infield hit.

A thing I would like to see even more are outfield speed bursts. Of course, you can't do it forever, but it would be cool to see.
And Carimbo, Michael Kay towards the end of the season seemed to mentioning Cano all the time. He would be like, "he would be perfect if he hustled." I remember towards the end of September, Cano actaully hustled and Ken Singleton asked for a replay of it . __________________

yes, i understand it when a catcher like russell martin runs slow from batter box , because he is really slow, but i don't understand why granderson or ichiro are jogging down the first base line , when in real life i have seen them both beat out throws to first. especially when an infielder bobbles the ball and picks it up and they are just getting to first

If that's the case, I agree with you. They should make the attribute baserunning aggresiveness mean more.

Does anyone know if baserunning aggressiveness makes any difference at all? I know it does if you simulate, but does it do anything if you play every game?
