Default I think the AI is on steroids

And they seem to be taking more and more as the years go on for my RTTS SS (In year 2019)

Symptoms:

-Hyperspeed windup on every other pitch it seems. Most prominent for tall pitchers like Josh Johnson, Delin Betances, and Doug Fister. This makes it hard to steal bases and very easy to be picked off.
-Faster pitch speeds. Every pitch feels 10 mph faster than it would in franchise. An 83 mph curve ball pops the glove like a Randy Johnson fastball.
-Ridiculous fielder speed. The pitcher will cover the same ground as my 99 speed in a shorter amount of time. First basemen are WAY too fast especially running back to the bag
-A player with below average speed will make a routine groundball to the SS very close (this I have video evidence for).
-Players with merely average speed usually steal 2nd or 3rd base before I even receive the throw (the catcher is not delaying his throws)
-Homerun derby and batting practice pitches are WAY faster than they are in any other mode

Perhaps the most annoying glitch involves my batter. EVERY ball I roll over to the first basemen. Even if it's a high fastball and I don't move the left stick (Zone batting). The variety of batted balls pales in comparison to when I play franchise with lesser players.

Think I'm just frustrated? I read something about rebuilding the PS3 database for similar issues and it worked. My player with nearly maxed attributes would hit something like eight homeruns in six games and all of the issues I had listed seemed less pronounced. But slowly the game's state would regress back into the previous state and I'd just ground out every time.

It's not input lag for sure, because franchise and exhibition mode have none of these issues whatsoever. It's strictly relegated to RTTS and the issue has gotten worse with every new season.

I can tell you some things even better. This has happened to me several time, I hit a ball in the gap and the outfielder goes across like he is on roller skates on a wood floor and catches the ball or holds my guy to a single. I may be able to help you with the pitching speed. Go to your sliders and turn down pitch speed, this will make the pitch appear to come to you slower. As far as the rest, I have said to my wife several time when I am playing "the computer cheats".

Wow that's a long first post for you. Turn down outfielders reaction, turn up solid hits, and turn down pitch speed. This will help a lot. One thing: turning down pitch speed kind of has a effect on your mind where you think: Okay I have more time to wait now, and then you swing late all of the time.

Thanks guys for the responses. I know I sound a little angry but that's just because I poured so many hours into this career and never had more fun playing a videogame.

I have tampered with the sliders, but that's more of band-aid than a solution. Even with some of the sliders at 0 the problems will persist and they hurt me more than it hurts them. It's also a matter of principle because I absolutely mash with the same difficulty in franchise.

I just was kind of hoping for a diagnosis to my problem and an explanation as to why rebuilding the PS3 database cures the mode for a few games.
