He hits nothing but routine fly balls and grounders, regardless of the 83 power vs both lefties and righties. Hell, Eddie Rosario has near identical stats vs righties and he's a glitch at the plate for me, which makes me think it's their swings factoring into their success
Swings are just as important as a players stats but most don’t realize this. Some players have faster swings than others and explains why you can be early on the fastball with one batter and late on the same pitch with a different batter.
I for one love Santanas swing and have had great success with him but to each their own.
Their swings do make a difference, as do all swings. The thing I have found with Santanas swing is that he smokes low pitches and cant hit the high stuff. This is weird to me because I definitely hit high heat better than low changeups
Yep absolutely rake with him and his gold.
Carlos Santana is really good said in Tim Kurkjian's voice
Yeah, if you need a sac fly, he’s your guy.
I destroy with him.
He's my starting catcher, and I'm a guy who values defense greatly..
His bat is just too good
I hear from a lot of people that he's glitchy as heck, but I don't have good experiences with him.
He crushes for me
