I just realized

Hanging in this forum debating the absurd online game play of MLB the Hit Show is more fun than playing the game. Because, at least, in here we actually have control over our outcomes. The AI can't change "absurd" to "stellar".

Contrast that to how the AI in MLB the Hit Show can randomly changes strikes to balls, easy outs to errors, 99+ diamond pitchers to dogmeat, etc.

In here, you have the constraints of reality dictating your experience.

We may not all agree, but I'm finding there are more folks that believe this game is not a competition but an Arcade experience that can sometimes be fun. Just like any arcade game. Just don't expect real-life results. Expect a lot of parity and a WHOLE lot of frustration.
