LeMahieu is the most awkward card in the game easily

SDS

Big frame with no power (78 v, rhp is a mirage), reverse splits, push hitter, zero speed and plays well below his stats. Most awkward card in the game.

SDS

He's also a rarity in real baseball, but his skillset translates way better in real life.

Yeah, unfortunately the geniuses over at SDS made it impossible to be successful with contact hitters.

SDS

I’ve always liked his cards. He’s a high contact hitter with solid fielding. His speed isn’t that bad. Slow, but there are much slower options. Not really sure what you expect, he’s not a power hitter.

Agreed, and he may play well offline. In those grinds he plays like a high common/low bronze

Man the few times I reached the gaps man he looked like a bigfoot trying to get to 2nd base

Hard to judge from just doing moments. Seems like every card plays under their ratings.

True, most likely sliders

While blaming SDS for a lot of things is the norm (and accurate many times), sometimes, they aren't to blame. In this case, the community wants to play home run derby, not baseball. Anything that is GOOD/GOOD or better is moaned and bitched at if it's not hit 500+ feet. Contact hitters will never see love because the community doesn't care about them. People assign more worth to Kyle Schwarber than say, Ozzie Smith. I know which I'D prefer on my team.....and he never played for the Cubs.....

SDS

Compared to the bellinger card that’s just one more step up the ladder, DJ is a joke

SDS

Contact hitters serve their purpose. I’ve used Juan Pierre all year and love his card. Weak arm but covers a ton of ground in center or left, hitting over .330 with him, steals bags. It just depends on what type of offense you’re trying to have and what you want to sacrifice for it.

SDS

I’m sure bellinger will show up in lineups way more often than DJ

Umm duh?

No ones saying DJ is better than Bellinger lol

smh they're both at the end of the monthly program but belly will be all over the place while nobody will play dj... obviously bellinger is better, i apologize if you thought i suggested anything otherwise. the point i am trying to make is that the bellinger card is so much better than dj that their close proximity in the monthly reward program seems kind of odd.

Like Glasnow is to Didi? Or Wood is to Correa? Not sure why it seems odd.

Mm guess you’re right, the other monthly rewards are the same

SDS

No doubt he is the most awkward card I have used. I’ve done a ton of these moments and they can be a pain. His were by far the worse for me he is a slow singles hitter and I can’t stand his swing. I hope to never use this card again.

SDS

I’ve used Glasgow in ranked a couple times successfully. Also, potm Tim Anderson is awesome. I’ve also used Wood in long relief.

I don’t think DJ will crack the lineup though. A contact hitter with no speed is kind of useless.

SDS

I'm raking with him in the last few rs games

SDS

I hope my hitting with him in the moments transfers to Ranked. He was hitting bombs and Doubles all day long... But have to try him in Ranked or vs. CPU
