Moonshot 10-2 lost to self proclaimed scammer

SDS

Dude said he’d quit if I gave him a belli and didi hr which happens quite frequently but then proceeded to text me #scammed and went on to win. Am I at fault here? So many ppl do this in this event and I’ve never been bitten helping them out once and of course it happened so late in a run. Pls either tell me what an idiot I was or help me see a way to get back at him

SDS

you are at fault but you are the better person. next time just ignore these requests or ask to be spotted a bunch of runs first

SDS

Yeah probably smart, I should just played him, I putting up like ten a game then he mad me mad and held me to 3 cause I started chasing in anger too

SDS

Drop his gamer tag on here so we can give him a piece of our minds. Anyone who takes advantage of business should just go play in traffic.

SDS

This is one of those times where being the Good Samaritan backfires....

Another user posted this suggestion before elsewhere but it is definitely something to consider....

Next time anyone asks for a solid on Bellinger (as an example), Bellinger gets beaned every single at bat

SDS

Bryanchan33, he is now reporting me for vulgar language as well when I gave him a little piece of my mind so that’s an added bonus

Well that is two other rules you broke now (shaming, language - if used as part of your piece of mind)

SDS

Yeah I may actually get a few days ban for some of that if he reports it but not really conxerned. I swore twice which wasn’t smart

SDS

ask him to spot you runs next time

SDS

Simple solution .. say no or don’t reply. You’re not obligated to help somebody & their grind. Being a good guy in online gaming tends to have you getting burned .. & that’s exactly what happened.

SDS

If you're in a deep run i wouldn't even risk it unless like others said he will spot you runs. I have no problem doing it in a first or second event game. Cuz even if i do get "scammed" i really could care less

I GOT MATCHED WITH HIM BEFORE!!! I just checked my messages on the ps app and he messaged me on 4/6 saying “quit or I report your logo” I never responded and I think the quit that game. So it’s now confirmed that he’s a little scamming ********************************* that needs to be banned for those actions. Hopefully SDS or PS don’t try and do anything bad to you for being the victim from someone else’s childish antics.

SDS

I have messages turned off. This sort of thing is way to prevalent.

SDS

Well if you guys run into me my gamer tag is alanthagreat1 and I actually quit after I get my hits with belli , not everyone is like that and also I’ve seen some people not believe me at all but it’s not their fault if I was in ya shoes I will doubt the other person as well

SDS

I don't mind helping out. But I always tell them they need to give me my stats first or they are going to need to earn it. So far everyone I have worked with has kept their word.

I always ask for the lead first

SDS

I find that when I don’t respond, they quit in or after the first inning

SDS

Always ask for runs first. This proves they are serious and not scamming.

If they aren't scamming they shouldnt have a problem.

SDS

I always ask for a 5 run lead before

SDS

If it makes you feel any better, this individual went 2 for 8 in his entire Junior year of high school baseball. And his Senior season was cancelled by COVID.

He's also the worst scammer ever for using his actual name in his PSN.
