Retired Players Survey

SDS

Make sure everyone fills out the survey for SDS. Asking for input on what retired legends we want.

SDS

Link? I have quite a list...

SDS

Put Barry Bonds about 25 times and Manny Ramirez a couple dozen times just to make sure they understood

SDS

#1 Manny, #2 Pedro, #3 Yaz, #4 Nomar (currently my CAP 🙂 ) and #5 Fisk as a Sox fan is who I want to see

SDS

Manny is the #1 player I want for this game

They could give him 50 fielding and I’d still play him out there. I’m a Yankee fan but Manny has always been one of my favorites. Guy was a hitting machine

He would probably have around 70 fielding, still the card would be one of the best hitters in the game by far, maybe even 115+ power each side

SDS

Mannywood would be a great card. He is still trying to make a comeback.... if he somehow was able to make a roster, I don’t see why we couldn’t get a great Manny card. This is also counting on real baseball returning...

SDS

I will say until the end of time that I need Scott Rolen to make my MV3 dreams come true, Pujols/Edmonds/Rolen Would be 3-4-5 in my lineup all year

SDS

Garciaparra

SDS

Rip to the poor soul who is gonna have to write a parser to go through these surveys

I put some others that most people wouldnt mention as well as the usual suspects.
I added
Chuck Klein (the beginning of his career had him on a legendary trajectory. HOFer)

Mike Marshall (unreal bullpen option)

Hideo Nomo (multiple no hitters, fan favorite)

Dan Brouthers (8th in OPS+, HOF, early star of the game)

Mel Ott (Giants legend, 500 HR club, HOF)

Frank Robinson (MVP in each league, HOF, 586 HRs)

Rod Beck (not as deserving as the others, but still a reliable bullpen arm, nice breaking ball)

I threw in Frank Robinson as well. DiMaggio was my #1 choice.
