I'm curious what the average % of pitches that professionals throw end up over the middle of the plate. Does anybody happen to know or be willing to dig?
I've been keeping track of pitches over the middle in event games and for both me and my opponents, it's averaging out to about 25-30%, give or take 5%, and that seems way to high to me.
Good question but I’m willing to bet the % is higher then you think. Are you calculating the middle zone 1/9 and if pitches on outside edge are factored?
@bonion said in % of hangers:
Nothing in the upper/lower box, definitively at least. Anything touching the edges of that middle box or line.
Some people may say “well this event is bronze pitchers or less only” but keep in mind a bronze 74 is prob on average or slightly above the average MLB pitcher so this is a good theory for Gamebred’s calculations
