you could throw 3 straight pitch outs and I'll strike out- or is that more a patience issue?
Lol idk why this is so funny
@thehomiemiike said in my timing is so bad...:
it's so true though, smh hiding my eyes
Yeah bro I learned to be patient and I’m waaaaaaay better

It is a patience thing. Trust me, I am responsible for almost half the strikeouts in this game. I have prestiged many of my opponents pitchers because I am a free swinger.
You are so anxious to hit the ball, that you will swing at anything.
Let me ask you....How many times have you told yourself "That pitch is a ball" and still swung? You are not alone. I have noticed that fatigue and/or frustration also leads to poor plate discipline. If you have been playing too long or are struggling, take a break. I guarantee you when you get back on, your discipline will be better.
Playing the Ruth program has drastically helped my patience... especially on the HOF games
Find the pitchers release point. You have to see the ball out of the hand as early as possible in order to decide whether it's a ball or a strike
Instead of looking at the pitcher, try looking at the spot on the batters eye where the pitch seems to come out of. And when I say look, I mean stare at it.
I don’t swing until 2 strikes
The HOF Ruth moments have definitely helped me with patience.
Got to be willing to take a strike or two if they are painting the corner. Wait for the mistake and fight off good pitches. Works for Ruth program and RS
Patience is the main key. I’m an average player but have noticed that most World Series players rely on you swinging at balls out of the zone. That’s partially how they get there. I’ve gotten better at drawing more walks.
Yeah.... my patience is terrible too. I always have to stop and tell myself to stop swinging at everything. Some days I'm patient and other days I completely lack the skill it takes to not swing. Some games the only balls I take are the ones way inside that you cant swing because your batter jumps out of the way.
