Game after game facing carbon copy mantle (and now trout) teams who spam early and check swing getting old. If I wanted to play homerun derby I’d play RBI baseball. I know people have said that it provides better feedback but I just think it sucks. Want to play some 2-1 games these days. I’m average player who makes WS every season and I can tel the difference between a mercenary and average players just exploiting shippet to no end. Raise the mounds or something.

I really don’t understand why people complain about shippett. So the balls fly there because of the altitude...it has the same effect for both players. Doesn’t matter if it’s there or at yankees stadium, you still going have to score more runs then your opponent.
Yet the best Coors imitation is Laughing Park, even worse/better than Shippett

You can’t really say you are an average player if you consistently make World Series. That said, I would much rather be in an offensive game where at least I feel like my pci input is rewarded rather than perfect perfect warning track shots and good good line outs for days. I understand there should be more parity in the types of hits you should receive but it is what it is ...

Average players stay mired in Pennant Race/Wild Card.
I played MLB 08 The Show for the PS2 recently, and one thing irked me. There were more spring training stadiums in that game then there are here
I like capitol and blue river. Shippet annoys me too but it at least rewards good swings more often. The problem lies in that it also rewards [censored] swings more often
