Anyone have luck using him online? I've only used him in the Ruth moments, his stuff seems ok, but I'd be terrified with runners on base with a speed/steal over 60.
I like him, basically a knock off Kluber
I played a guy (probably an alien with lizard eyes) earlier. We both started Seaver. Top of the first, I couldn't get out of the inning. The only out I recorded was a perfect perfect line out. His Seaver hit a perfect perfect triple and now I'm dead inside.
Bright side: My Seaver's ERA should come down by at least 100 runs no matter how I do with him next game - if I ever use him again
I've only pitched 1 game with him, AS in RS. His control was pretty good with great breaking stuff. Doesn't have an overpowering fastball, so you have to mix the pitches.

I just played someone like this, I was pitching Orel, the OP wasn't even that patient, he just hit every single pitch I threw, hard. He even jacked b alls that were seemingly out of the PCI range. Barely, if any any fouls... Maybe he was just that good but sometimes I really wonder if some people haven't found some kind of exploit, it was incredible to watch... Like you I could not get out of the top of the 1st. I forget if I quit or got mercied but it was absurd.

Funny I was thinking he’s a rich man’s Oswalt
I just faced him...8 runs & 14 hits.

No Roy is definitely better. He's like Caffeine-Free Diet Roy Oswalt

He’s definitely got more calories than Roy. Too soon for me to definitively say quality wise though.
Seaver's off-speed stuff is better than most --- especially his slider --- and his fastball is adequate. While his curve as tons of break, it's a challenge to throw it for a strike at the very bottom of the zone --- too easy to throw it in the dirt. That' ok, because a lot of hitters will go fishing, even at a ball below the zone.
His biggest downside is his sinker --- it's flat. It doesn't sink. It's 2-3 mph slower than his fastball but that's the only difference between his sinker and 4-seamer.
