I’m getting a feeling that if Trout doesn’t get the AL MVP this year people will use it as an excuse to discredit whoever wins the award this year, if it’s not Trout. What are your thoughts?

Well Trout does lead in OPS, HR(tied), and top 5 in most categories.
I'm thinking Gary Sanchez kicks it into 5th gear after the All Star Break and is a unanimous choice.
