I’ve got my lineup organized so people can’t play matchups with the 3 batter minimum, but it still doesn’t seem right.
2B Hornsby R CF Mantle S 3B Sheffield R LF Babe L SS Ripken R RF Walker L C Biggio R 1B Musial L
Something about Stan hitting 8th with Ripken hitting 5th doesn’t feel right but I guess it could work as a second cleanup hitter. Any suggestions?
Switch hitters are your friends
Mine is: Biggio R Mantle S Sheffield R Babe L Davis R Prestige Didi L Posey R Prestige Belli L
As you see I have a similar lineup and a "cleanup" hitter hitting 8th. I think it is fine. I would try to find a better shortstop than Cal unless you like his swing
I would strongly recommend switching out Rollins for Cal and then getting Babe out of left field. With the cards out now you are just asking for big problems out there with Sheffield and Ruth on the same side. I would look at Rollins Mantle Hornsby Ruth Sheffield Walker Eric Davis Biggio/Wieters
Maximizes speed on either end of your lineup allowing you not to rely on the home run ball and Davis and Biggio speed makes it harder for them to work around them to pitch to your pitcher.

What about switching it to Mantle Hornsby Ruth Sheffield Walker Ripken Musial Biggio
Its L/R balanced as well, but gets speed into the 8 hole, and moves Ripken down a spot.

Thanks. This is the kind of thing I was trying to do, but I wasn’t sure if hitting Mickey leadoff would be a waste of RBI potential.

I’ve got Davis and I hit decently well with him, but his PCI is pretty small against RHP. I will agree that his defense and speed were top notch though.

I got Cal for free after doing the shark map so I was giving him a try. I’ve got about 1.3m stubs so I could try out Banks if Ripken isn’t doing it for me.

I considered buying Ernie but I’ve held out with hopes of finally pulling a high round out of a DotP pack. I haven’t even pulled a rare round yet

I’d also consider taking out Musial, putting Ruth at 1st, and getting more speed/defense in the 8 hole. Elsbury would be an ideal fit.

If that's the case, may I suggest Lou Brock or Lofton leadoff and Mantle to the 3 hole.
