How do you hit in games when there is sun glare in hitter eyes?

SDS

It’s impossible for me to see the ball during sun glare in games. I’m using strike zone camera. How can I solve this hitters eye issue?

SDS

Honestly, you just have to guess and try not to get frustrated. I take a lot of pitches in that situation cuz usually it goes away after a couple innings. Ik im not gonna hit well, so I may as well make the pitcher work as much as I can so I can have an advantage over my opponent by the time the glare goes away.

SDS

It is really hard, you got to pitch well! Your opponent has the glare as well so keep that in mind. Maybe try changing your camera angle to get rid of the glare

SDS

You really can't. SDS needs to darken some of these batters eye backdrops.

If the glare is only in a certain part of the strike zone, which from my experience is generally in the upper half, I usually just eliminate that part of the zone. If the ball gets up in the glare I just take the pitch. Of course with 2 strikes you might have to take a hack but I try to avoid it as much as possible. Like mentioned, it will usually go away after a few innings so just wait it out. Agree though, it should be addressed and they should eliminate the glare.

No joke I wore sunglasses yesterday and wow what a difference.

SDS

you just have to wait for the next 2 innings when the shadows creep in.

i like it. very realistic.

SDS

Try contact swing honestly and like some have said take more pitches then usual ! No one should ever pick those times to play! I always put it on overcast!!

SDS

I wear yellow tinted gaming glasses, which increases the contrast between different shadings.

SDS

Try to take as many pitches as possible and see if you can pick up any pitch or location. If you can, sit on that

SDS

what I do is select the month of October at 7pm start.. Almost every time is a night game when matched up. Strike Zone 2 seems to not be as bad as strike zone...

Seems to help me, yes. I have a few pairs of gaming glasses, but the yellow lens seem to help with this problem of picking the ball up, because the seams and edges of the ball stand out more clearly.
