I don’t usually use CAPs but I’m trying one now and so I am sure I am about 6 months late with this complaint, but the Mitch Garver Catcher CAP moment is quickly becoming my least favorite non extreme moment. I hate it so much. I’m a decent player not a great one so I’m sure lots of people did it with ease but it’s killing me. First, great idea to require 3 hits (and an XB) in 4 at bats with a guy with 57 contact. Then there’s Singer who throws every pitch in the dirt resulting in either a walk or crappy contact with my already crappy contact hitter. And the icing on the cake of course is SDS’s decision to put Byron Buxton on first for the first AB so the pitcher throws over to him at least 3-4 times every at bat. This moment is basically everything I hate about moments all in one moment.
Moments are so bad in general. A huge decision point for whether I buy this game next year is based on if moments return.
