I have a SS and at times the positioning is that my player and the 3B are so close to each other that they could hold hands. About 90% of the time the batter hits a ground ball up the middle that I can't even get close to. I have played, umpired and watched baseball over 50 years and have never seen that positioning even in a shift. Where in the world did SDS come up with this idea? Has anyone else noticed this at all? It has never been in the game until this year.
Definitely been a problem since at least TS19. I logged a bug report last year. It’s simply because the CPU teammates are shifted but there’s nothing coded in to take it into account for the RTTS player, either all of the time or under certain circumstances such as when a lefty is batting or for the SS only or combination of circumstances.
