Newhouser is less of a threat these days to online players. If you're interested in dabbling more in RS, I'd suggest benching Hal and going with someone else. A sneaky - and budget - option might be the SS Cole Hamels if you need a LH starter. You could also go with Kershaw, as mentioned.
FotF Hershiser and Wood are good additions too.
I really like Kershaw and Wood as well. I can't pitch with Hershiser for some reason.

Just throw high sinkers to both sides and mix in the cutter occasionally. His curve can be used effectivley to some hitters just dont show it a lot. He's freaking money.
buy kershaw and madmax. SELL May and Grienke
Tier 1 options- Maddux, Orel, Seaver(if you grind) Tier 2: MadBum, Hamels, MadMax Tier 3: Whitley, maybe Felix
Kershaw is good, but I'm not sure what you're willing to give up to get him.
Orel is a must. Also, go get the 99 Gibson for completing the conquest
Hamels is great cheap lefty. Cliff Lee, similar. Free Whitey Ford in the store right now too. Haven't used him yet.
