Throw meter while playing catcher or any other position in RTTS

I don't know if it just works in Diamond Dynasty or another mode but I can't for the life of me get the throwing meter to popup while playing catcher or any position in RTTS. I've changed the settings with the throw meter on but nothing works.

I turned the throwing meter off myself but if you post the elevant settings you have I"ll be glad to doublecheck next time I play.

I have it set to showtime and throwing meter but only because I've tried button accuracy and throwing meter with no success.
