With the calendar turned to October and the MLB Postseason in full-swing, we are now well into the back-half of The Show 20's life-cycle and with that, we will soon see the final stage of the Team Affinity programs roll out.
It has been heavily speculated that Team Affinity 4 will likely be Finest Series cards, as the Team Affinity setup lends itself very well to how they've done the Finest Series in the past.
One thing I'd really like to see is similar to how Stage 1 had gold Prospects Series at about halfway to the diamond Face of the Franchise cards, I'm hoping they do the same except instead of golds, give us high-80s/low-90s diamonds. They could be All-Star, Veteran, traditional Postseason, and Breakout series cards -- maybe even a few Primes/SS, too. For simplicity's sake, I'm going to refer to these cards as "henchmen."
So, with all that in mind, I'm going to do my predictions for each team's Finest card, as well as the midway point card. Without further ado, I hope ya'll enjoy and we can spark a discussion on who deserves a card and which players you'd just like to see get one.

Lol, my first thought too
I love this idea and I hope Arrieta is a part of the cubs, been waiting for that card all year. I can't believe there isn't even a firm date for TA4 yet, hopefully it comes before the end of the month.
I think we need MORE JRAM CARDS. There are no where near enough this year!
P.S. I do love JRAM.

Thank you for this list, BTW. Nice job.
Whoops! My bad, I thought I changed that but I guess it didn't make my final version. Anyway, I'm going to change that to either Rookie Series Masahiro Tanaka or Prime David Robertson.
For selfish reasons, I think I'm going to go with Robertson for my all-time White Sox team.

It was "tough" to leave him off here... ya know, that way he has a third 99 overall card! (lmao)

You and me both, man!
I'm a White Sox fan and even I look forward to that card every year. He's one of the lower overall cards I always find myself having a difficult time taking them out of my lineup. I know it'd be the same this year, too.
I think the Braves will be ozuna and Freddie freeman will get the top 1B seeing that he will likely be the NL MVP
@Crimson_Monk said in My Team Affinity: Stage 4 Predictions:
You're likely right. I can't remember if we got the top DH last year.
Considering Abreu has a 98 overall Topps Now, he may not get a Finest card, unfortunately.
Great work, man. Appreciate all the effort put into this and I hope this is similar to what they give us.

I echo this sentiment. Well done OP!

Good list tho, I don’t have to the time to think about every tam lol. I hope you’re right about the henchman, I like that idea.
Tim Anderson has to be for the WhiteSox
Really nice. This theory is why I'm avoiding locking in any of the current extended collections that dropped last week.
I hope you’re wrong on Kim. His stuff doesn’t translate to a usable card, even a high 90s. Also on Cards, I don’t believe they have Slaughter’s rights this year. No cards yet.
Great work overall. I just hope it isn’t finest. Too many of those players already have cards in the 90s. Not sure any would even make my team at this point.
@lazy_toast said in My Team Affinity: Stage 4 Predictions:
Why not Jose Abreu? He is in the running for MVP. I agree it's either him or Tim Anderson.
this would be incredible, if they also inlcuded Henchman!!!
This would be a cool way to clan up some of the legends we haven’t gotten such as Morris, Dunn, Slaughter, Spahn, and Ashburn. Really nice list. Only criticism is that they aren’t going to be releasing 90+ overall breakout cards at this stage. Almost all of them would probably be signature, Prime, or awards IMO
