Should they?

Should MLB teams be able to trade draft picks? Every other big sport can, but the MLB. I would like it! Thoughts?

Its a good question but I feel like with the number of rounds it would be tough. Would they set rules for a maximum number of picks involved in 1 trade or would they let a team trade 40 picks at once if they are insane?

Too complicated. In other sports, draft picks go straight to the highest level. That isn't the case in baseball, many draft picks don't make it.

I would say there would be a limit, like: You can only trade picks for the 1st round, 2nd round, 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
