A couple of Conquest observations

I did the starter Conquest map and a few things I noticed.

  1. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the game now remembers your preferred settings for month and time of day!!

  2. At first glance (I need to test this) when you choose your pitcher (no more pitcher roulette) it apparently chooses the equivalent pitcher on the opposing team. So your #1 pitcher will always face their #1.

For number 2 I need to do some more testing. It would be easily exploitable if it was based on the pitcher slot as you could slot your best pitcher as your #5 and always face the other teams worst pitcher.
If they were smart they based it on your pitchers overall, where your highest overall pitcher faces the other teams highest overall regardless of the slot in the rotation.

#2, it sorts your pitcher by ranking and it does match up with their pitcher of the same ranking.

True. So no picking my no. 1 against the nationals again ... Hitting stras is much easier

I picked the same pitcher twice in a row. It seemed like he had absolutely no control and got rocked pretty good.

Thats just bad luck for you I think. Theres no stamina offline modes (or so SDS noted). But it is conquest so stamina starts kinda low to begin with.

EDIT: and when I say Stamina I'm referring to the carry over effects from game to game. Each new conquest game everyone should be "full" but since its conquest they always start low.

Always has been terribly random. I've always enjoyed going into a sim up like 53-10 and losing 30+ fans to take the one tile.

Always has been terribly random. I've always enjoyed going into a sim up like 53-10 and losing 30+ fans to take the one tile.

Nothing even close to that had ever happened to me...

Usually by the time this happens I'm easily dropping 60 fans at a time for re-enforcement but its just annoying when trying to cover the map and thinking you can clear 30-40 squares but have to spend a few extra turns to cover due to bad sim logic.

Yeah i bet it is...I've lost some I thought should be an easy win..but nothing on the scale you described
