Anybody having issues with outfielders chasing down fly balls and over/under running them or just flat out not even looking up and missing them completely? These are routine fly balls and the timing or lag is getting thrown off.
I feel like you need to stop running a bit earlier then last year. I dropped a couple of fly balls in the practice game (while the full game was installing) but got used to it by now.
Haven't played yet (since I had to be at work at 5am EST today and was drooling in a pillow at launch) but I'm going to ask what seems like an obvious question. Is there a chance the higher rate of dropped balls is because you don't have 99's in the field?
I already see shades of MLB 16 with it... I had judge camped under one and it hit him in the throat earlier
Limited play so far (1 conquest game, 3 showdown matches) and only thing I've noticed is the throw meter is extremely fast. Going to take adjusting on that. And my SS bobbled a routine DP (think I had LS dejong there).
I’m noticing a lot of booted balls in the infield now too. With above average defensive players in RS. This is concerning.
the defense is like beginning of last year defense I had bellinger take 3 off his head today
Yes! I’ve seen many routine fly outs get dropped. I’ve seen this a lot with Judge actually. I also had my RF glitch and moonwalk backwards to ball allowing for an inside the park HR lol. Also, does it seem like rollers get by them when they shouldn’t?
@Tophalici0Uz said in Outfield blunders:
On a routine popup, my LF started running away from the circle target, when all I did was tap it, in attempt to get closer into the target. Also, dropped ball on routine fly ball in a tag up situation. And yes, it does seem like rollers get by them, but delayed animation shows them picking up the ball. I can't even get mad, because of how ridiculous it is, that I just have to laugh.
