What is the point of the team affinity packs after I collect all?

I get a NAT team affinity pack that I cannot use in sets or exchanges so why do I get them at all? I can see them being useful in the face of the franchise but why are they given after collection rewards? At least make the team affinity players exchangeable or something am i missing something here?

A lot of Sony partners are complaining about the same thing I think they will fix it. Just hold them for now and hopefully they change it.

They just need to make all duplicate locked cards exchangeable. Problem solved.

Oddly, it let me quicksell a pack of these today, but not any of my other ones I already had. Unreal. So many bugs they didn't take time to work out before release.

If you quicksell them from the pack screen it makes it seem like you quicksold them but you don’t get the stubs or lose the card

They got a lot of people this way..in game they did not properly explain this...very unfair

Those cards are still in your inventory and you didn't get any stubs

I saw the TA rewards first so I didn't get caught by this, but when I opened the Yankees pack from the granderson program I got 2 andujar in the same pack, which is extra BS considering the Yankees have like 12 silvers

I think the assumption was that most people weren't going to run out and do the collections first.

Duplicates should be able to be Exchangeable and Sold on the Market or QS. There is no point in having 100 cards of the same player just cause you open a TA pack that locks in that card. Good thing I only open 2 of those packs and have no need to open anymore.

SDS obviously did not realize how many people rush these collections first and somehow assumed that people would reach 10 stars in other ways and still need players for that team.

That said, I learned about the error on like Friday and realized that it was not wise to lock in a collection before you hit 10 points. Unfortunately, people in early access for any game and who rush content as fast as possible are always going to be the ones who get hit the hardest with bugs and unexpected consequences. That is not an excuse for the game or the devs but simply the way it is on most games.

But the thing is it can be fixed by simply making the duplicates exchangeable

And there is no indication that they won't do that but the game just came out officially yesterday and there are actual game bugs (like not being able to advance evolution and the Granderson stat missions or home runs robbing you of runs) that are far more important than some no sell silver and bronze cards.
