And let us save our lineup, please
I am a console gamer, I refuse to play on monitor. To play before my tv is the main reason I have PS4. At least I bought new Samsung tv, which has some better gaming mode, but still not comparable with pc monitors. So playing on tv is still huge disadvantage. I wish SDS could do something about it, cause The Show is console game
And what about the servers? Aren't some issues related to how far you are from the server? I think there is some advantage for players living close to server
As I said, I don't mind about it, events are still fun and I can get some wins here and there. But it's strange feeling to be like last small fish in the shark tank :-). I've last meeting with someone worse than me maybe month ago
Somehow find out how this game could be playable online on TV, don't force us to buy pc monitor for console gaming
Thanks guys, MTO is a fun mode for me and not so hard, cause I am rookie in this game, so I can grind it for that Affinity players
I've got Clayton Kershaw after rookie cpu game and 83 starting pitcher. There is 0,21% chance on diamond, so it will never happen again
I have losing record and I have faced another player with losing record maybe twice in this event. I don't mind losing to better players, I try to practice my online skills, but this event Is not for bad players
No switch hitters and any left handed
I love this event. Finally I can match in events with some bad players like me. And I can finally hit on all-star
Where are all the bad players like me? I am playing lot of events, cause RS is too long and too stressful for me (14-21 record), but I haven't met anyone with another losing record very long time.
I don't care about it, cause in 3 inning games anything could happen, but I am just curious. What do you guys think, are they gone?

@foresticek said in What are you expectations for MLB The Show 21 PS5 version: I have new Samsung QLED, which should have good gaming mode, it's much better than my older TV, but still not comparable with PC monitor. My PS4 Is hardwired with good internet speed, there Is nothing I can do more. I would buy monitor, if The Show Is only game I play, but I refuse to play for example Ghost of Tsushima and other games on some small screen. I live in midlle Europe, so maybe distance is other factor of lags, when you play someone overseas I know the QLED’s are pretty solid too as far as response times and input lag (I believe). Is there a “game mode” setting on your QLED? Also, does that QLED support HDMI 2.1?

Sure, it has gaming mode and it's a difference comparing to my older TV. About that support of HDMI 2.1 I don't know I can't find it
Yes, I think squad battles would be great in DD
I am at the exactly same boat as OP. I'm really not great player (13-21 in RS), but I was able to get decent record in every All-star dificculty event, it was always between 40-50% wins. In the first part of this event I was about 10-10, but in the second part I am now 1-12 and that solely win was from prestige quitter. I really can't understand what happened, did I become from under average player to total trash player overnight? Or is it just very unlucky slump? Some games in this streak are really unlucky, sometimes I was facing just much better players than me, but still, this is not a fun.
I love how in this game you can grind for very good team, content is great, but online I feel it is too hard for me sometimes. I would take few days break, but I need still about 40 stars to get inning boss
I was playing events yesterday and couple times game was freezing after hit for few seconds, balls looked like in the ground, but I was out many times... it never happens in any online game, so no, this is not my internet
