What I want to know is how long do you think these guys practice their different "oh" faces for their headline image to go along with Titles like "I unlocked xxx and he broke the game and got my sister pregnant"?
Someone needs a snickers.
Yeah, not really cheating, it's just not very sportsman like. When I play RS now I take a different attitude. I treat it like a real baseball game. I drink some beers, curse at the screen and scratch my balls a lot. Spitting seed casings on the floor seems to be the line the wife has drawn however...
I know with the weekend coming up some people might just be hitting the 300 stars for the boss pick. I have a few thoughts after using them all for a few days now.
J-Roll. My initial pick. His style jives well with what I'm trying to do on my team, contact, speed, solid D. None of these 3 have affected the outcome of games more than J-Roll. My last game I won 1-0, J-Roll went 2-5 with 3 stolen bases and the winning run off a sac fly. He's as solid as it gets and will impact the game the most often of these 3 picks, he's is in a position to benefit greatly from prestige.
Stan. I put him at 1st replacing ortiz as he's much to slow to be an outfield consideration for me. While Ortiz was solid, Stan is an immediate defensive improvement and will get better with prestige. I was on a tear with him before I got a little lazy with my focus at the plate. His PCI is so big that it's kind of made me lazy. If I focus, he crushes everything. His lack of speed is an issue, but in my opinion he makes up for it with his RBI's. Personally I just have to pick and choose the slow guys as I don't want many of them on my starting squad.
Maddux. He has honestly surprised me. I got hit a bit in my 1st outing with him, but once I got better at using him he's been great. I was worried about his lack up velo but with his accuracy, a 93-94mph fb on the edges is pretty good, especially seeing as I typically use it as a break up/ pace change pitch. He doesn't have the kind of stuff that will blow you away but he induces a lot of weak contact. I enjoy using Orel, I really enjoy Maddux. Since the first game I don't think he has given up a single run. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep him but I'm sold on him now.
Hope this helps some.

Cigar and all. Actually the game shuts off and you're forced to go outside.
Eh, I don't care, I'll wait and get one in jan/Feb. Nothing I'm really interested in at debut. Cyberpunk will keep me busy till I can get one.
Im gonna be 40 in Jan. Have a great Job that I only have to show up to 3 days a week unless theres a disaster or emergency or something. I'm married, active, play a bunch of sports as well as train in jiu jujitsu and striking a few days a week. I dont do triathalons or race bikes anymore but I still run and ride, and swim sometimes... I will be getting a ps5 and I'm gonna play the [censored] out of it.
Forgive me if this has been addressed, but SDS, can we do something about opposing team stadium sounds playing in my home stadium? Isn't part of the home field advantage forcing them to listen to you're cheesey stuff and you not having to listen to theirs? I don't want to hear cows moo or bells ring or whatever. I'm ok with the announcer yelling about pudding but really I don't want to hear the cheese every time I strike out or their run scores on my home turf.
I like the environment at Polo and enjoy playing there. I'd like to see more classic stadiums like Navin (Old Tiger stadium), War Memorial (Buffalo), even Doubleday in cooperstown. I like the old sandlot feel to these mega stadiums. It would also be cool if you could design you're own park for you're team.
I really do see some really cool possibilities in the future on the PS5... Especially if we can get good VR.
Please add the option to save you're current event lineup. If not in this game for the next one. -J
Prima Nocta.... You have to breed it out.
I call myself bad, 1st year playing, just threw a perfect game with Grove to get to the 800's for the 1st time winning 2-0. Not enough time to try to make a WS run though I'd love to have Mays.
I need to get better at hitting.
I run clos eto the same BP except I use Hader, Gossage, Dibble, and Lee Smith instead of Fingers, Crotchett, Williams, and Miller.
Happens to me sometimes, usually it's when I'm playing early am like 2-3am and I'm matched against some guy playing in Puerto Rico or something.

The guy who can induce poorer contact tends too get it done. On HOF while I have seen some people have success with finesse pitchers, the formula at least to me seems to be that a 99+ FB is absolutely necessary to keep guys off balance. So guys with a great slider and changeup mixed with the FB seem to be the play. Also lefty's are good as most guys are running some combination of Trout, Tatis, Mookie.... Plus you're throwing away from guys like Ruth, Gehrig, Soto, etc... Sale Solid unless you're up against a guy who has drilled him over and over and can crush him, he's been BP for some guys. Lefty Grove Absolute beast DeGrom Absolute Beast Gibson Solid with a good FB Wood If you can get off to a fast start with some K's he's almost unhittable for about 6 innings, but don't hesitate to pull him early as he inexplicably starts shitting the bed in the 7th, even with a low pitch count. Al Leiter I just started experimenting with him, have only used him on AS and he's been surprisingly good. Induces a lot of poor contact, supposedly is really good on HOF but havn't had the courage to pull the trigger yet and start him. Kershaw Has enough zip to keep guys honest, but has a ton of mvmnt on his pitches. Paxton 100mph FB, but is prone to hanging breaking stuff Maddux Induces a ton of poor contact, sprinkle in the FB on the edges every now and then Whitley Good pitch mix, but poor stamina, only good for 6-7 I also keep someone like a Buehler, Kluber, Blue on the 5 when I'm making a run towards and into the 800's so I can bring them in if my starter starts having some issues, or if I just want to use them as a reliever. I havn't been able to get to WS yet but hopefully one day. Lately Orel has been getting lit up like for me so I've benched him, likely just because at this point so many have seen him... I think I am going to give DeGrom a go. That card always destroys me. Going to run with Grove, Ryan, DeGrom, Blue, Lamet, and Kopech If you're considering Ryan go Wood or Gibson instead... Ryans control is bad and personally I just sit on FB as he doesn't have many options and his control stinks. Otherwise it's a solid lineup. I wish he had a slider, but I've been having decent success with him. I throw his curve hard at an angle away from righties like a slider. If you mix locations and throw change ups too, Ryan can be good. I might give Gibson a go though. Thanks for the heads up.

Here’s hoping the delay in 21 news is because they are negotiating rights with a huge new legend or two that they want on the cover.
Negro Leaguers.....
Josh Gibson would break the game. He'd have to have Pudges D stats with Soto's offense stats (bare minimum) with at least 80 speed.
Ted Radcliffe, a catcher with a pitcher secondary
Bullet Rogan, an army vet, one of the best pitchers ever who could hit cleanup and would have an outfield secondary.
Sachel Paige, Cool Papa Bell, Smoky Joe....
I agree the AS/HOF [censored] shoot is no bueno. I actually prefer the game on HOF and wish I could always play on that as it seems like a better game with less of the bs you see in AS. The thing is it's hard to get better at playing on HOF because of the difficulty in getting there. You have to grind you're way through AS which is a mine field then have to go back and forth between HOF and AS, then, like it was mentioned above you don't get a guaranteed HOF game until 770ish or so.
Truthfully guaranteed HOF games above 700 seems like a good idea, or maybe once you crack 700 you get a mark and then play on HOF for the remainder of the season? Once you get there you're there kind of thing, no bouncing back and forth.
Lately Orel has been getting lit up like for me so I've benched him, likely just because at this point so many have seen him... a lot.
I'll quit early sonetimes if I run into an opponent who fouls everything off constantly then rips hr's I've had games where I'm at 50 pitches in the 2nd inning. I have no chance of beating that guy and all I'll do is either leave in my starter and get mercied or decimate my pitching staff just to try and hang with him.
