@sersimpleton said in Deleted the game, never buying another: This is the state of modern gaming, an obviously flawed product is released to the public, the public posts negative feedback, many others in the community mock the negative poster, so nobody fixes the game because enough people express satisfaction despite its objectively mediocre quality. Yep. And you don’t really see it anywhere else. You ever see a restaurant review where someone is like I had the steak and it was overcooked. And it gets a ton of replies like, well maybe you just suck at eating steaks and maybe you should just never eat steak again.

It’s a completely different argument though lol you’re not going to eat a steak at this place every day. There’s no degree of difficulty to eating steak. Also gamers are the biggest societal group of whiners on this planet. If gamers actually gave productive feedback about a product rather than “THIS GAME SUCKS I’M QUITTING WAH” then things could change. 99% of feedback is given when a person loses too. That’s not helpful. No one was complaining when you could do the retro mode glitch or the double points on MTO even though those are two examples of a broken game. Because it benefits us. The second something doesn’t benefit us it’s so intolerable. This same dude isn’t posting an article when he’s winning and he clearly was cause he said he was ranked in the 800’s. I would bet some mula he made some late innings come backs and was hyped. Lol. If you’ve ever played a game in your life outside of the show you would know there is no perfect online experience. Every forum board is like this one. There’s flaws to everything. If you’re demanding a perfect product it’s best to just stop playing games because you’ll never be happy.
The negativity in this community is getting out of hand.
Man y’all lose and become experts in analytics lol I lose 3 in a row and I blame my team.
I don’t like the idea of them copying anything Madden does. But that’s just me. Training is such a scam.

I’d say if you’re worried about hitting left on left it means YOU have no faith in your team to win. Sometimes this forum just cracks me up. “You’re a chump for adding lefties to your pen” - The Show Nation. It’s more of a tell of the level of loser someone is that they care so much about an event win that they have to go against the spirit of the event at the expense of their opponent’s fun. If these event wins mean that much to you great, I’m just glad I have more in life to look forward to.

It doesn’t make any sense to act like you have a good life but then be on these boards bitter as hell about someone playing a video game the way they want to play it lol
Yellich is the guy that kills me. Lefty-lefty it doesn’t matter. He’s taking me yard.
I would say that when you see a dude with 100 losses you assume it’ll be an easy win and you don’t mix up your pitch selection as much because you assume they’re bad. There are World Series players with 100 losses. Myself Included. I played a World Series dude the other day who was 238-287 and I got my [censored] kicked because I thought he was terrible and I was throwing the basic high fastball and inside sinker. You could also be playing dudes in all star. That happens a lot even though you’re in the 800s.
Complaints about free content are always great
You must not understand they were doing it on purpose to troll you. Lol even said it in the stream... c’mon man.
New showdowns are incredibly easy. I hated the divisional ones but these NL and AL ones are a breeze.

You don't need to spend of grind your life away to have a competitive team. That alone makes DD leaps and bounds better than MUT MUT is an absolutely miserable grind year in year out

Already not looking forward to it..
Check events
Live series Yellich keeps me up at night...
Silver lining: whatever card y’all thought was going to be the collection reward (ruth, manny, Frank Thomas, etc.) will probably be a free program/innings card. So that’s good.
If you have the stubs to use you should grab him man. I spent about 300k first day sets were available to finish him because I’ve already completed mantle and I’m just looking to have fun now. My line up has a lot of the hrd guys now. Cal, Stanton, Griffey and Cano. Put him in left and his defense isn’t an issue. As far as hitting goes if you’re underneath anything and timed well it’s out of the park on all star. Hall of fame you’ve gotta be right on it and it’s gone. Moon shots. People sit on stubs too much and miss out on having fun spending currency that only lasts a year. You could wait on a 99 griffey but that could be what? 3 more months from now. Lol
You played two guys with World Series banners and made the assumption in your post that all of us World Series guys are like this. That is a generalization my friend and generalizations are bad. I’ve been annoyed at the tactics of people with just about every banner there is and most of them are championship series but I will still be buying the game championship series hunter be damned.
@the_dragon1912 said in To people who cheese at everything..:
With how many posts there are about this kind of stuff you would think 75% of online games are players like this, and I’m guessing it scares some offline plays away from online. Fact is I might run into a player like this every 50 or so games. It is annoying, but it really doesn’t occur often enough to be a problem IMO
I’ve only played one dude in ranked seasons like this. He tried to bunt cheese to get on every time. Entire lineup was 90+ speed guys. Beat him in extras and it was so satisfying to win a game like that. But seems every other person I’ve played in this event is bunt cheesing on with biggio, Jackie, Ellsbury and sandberg. They make me sit up in my chair a little but it hasn’t been so bad you’re right.
The sooner you just buy him the sooner you get the collection out of the way and make it easier on yourself to enjoy spending stubs. Trust me. I spent the first two months of the game selling all the rewards and not getting to enjoy them and locking in any gold or live series diamond I pulled to complete mantle. Now that I have him I sling stubs like I’m at the strip club. I buy any new player to try them. I just did the griffey set for 320k and I’m not even mad about it just cause I want to try him out. I keep and use inning bosses now too.

So yeah for that price just do mantle. Bruh this is exactly what would happen to me, to a tee. Sorry you got dealt that hand.

Nah you’re good. I might just buy all 13 to have fun with anyway. Been having fun with them in events already but I don’t really care about the ballin pack bundle for all 13
