In the last month we have lost Tom Seaver, Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, Whitey Ford and now Joe Morgan.
@allmustfall16 said in Ty Cobb is legit:
He’s right up there with Mantle in my opinion (as far as hitting goes). He seems to hit left handed pitching well too. The fact he’s 90 power and can go up to 93 power from both sides with 125 contact is amazing. Well deserved for one of the top 3 hitters of all time. Cobb’s swing as always generated power. Even his (91) would hit HRs. This is the best inning boss this year in my opinion. Hopefully next inning we get Willie Mays. Well done SDS. This is why you’re different than 2K. 2k would have made people spend a week’s pay to get a card of this caliber.

I was waiting for a review on him...thanks. I'm envisioning him as my lead off hitter sort of like Rickey Henderson was with the As. Can hit, can hit for power and anything in the gap is a guaranteed double or triple.
Rumor has it that the 8th inning bosses are 99 Kershaw, 99 Pudge and 99 Foxx.
See my issue is on xbh moments. You hit the ball down the line and it should be a double, but the CPU runner who was at 1st stops at 2nd.
@Steelerof3Rivers said in Greg Maddux is awful:
I’m 5-0 with him with a 1.2 ERA but that’s just me & I was great with his 88 overall card also. I honestly think people just have to learn how to pitch with him. Paint the corners, Pitch to contact...It really works with him!
I was 8-1 with a .86 ERA and 114 SO with Maddux 88 so I would assume I would do even better with his 99. Also picked up 98 Orel and 97 May to try and find someone to go with 97 Wood 97 Leiter 98 Hal and 94 Hendrick.
@PhillyRunt44 said in Greg Maddux is awful:
Maddux has been elite for me. I love him. Gonna be my ace rest of year working on prestiging him....
Great to hear. This is why I love hearing other players opinions, but then also try them out. How Maddux or Wood or even 94 Hendricks pitches for other wont necessarily be the same as me.
Do you have any tips you can share as I assume you already have it done.

@mastermut4life said in HOF Ruth games: I'm doing the 30 3 inning games today before 7th inning comes out tomorrow. So what you’re saying is that you’re going to fatigue yourself with a really boring grind (and it is really efffing boring ,which In and of itself is mentally fatiguing) prior to new content coming out. Sounds like a great idea.

I actually enjoy it. It's a nice break from RS & Events. I don't find it boring or fatiguing at all.
After putting 98 Griffey Jr in LF and 99 Babe at 1st, I don't have a need for any of the bosses. I can actually hit with 98 Griffey and Babe is well Babe who hits mammoth no doubt HRs.
Both Cano and Hornsby rake for me.
I currently have 98 Mondesi there and lead off with him because of his spead. Out of his 15 HRs he's hit 7 or 8 have been leadoff blasts.
@joeybean23 said in For those of you with 1 mil Bellinger orders:
It’s so easy to make Stubbs, I’ll overpay just so I don’t have to grind. I’m not very good in the game but I can sure play the market.
I'm at about 2.1 million stubs and thinking to myself who am I going to use them on. Huge Cubs fan so I might put a huge bid on 99 Arrieta when they put his card in the market place. Other than him, I'm extremely happy with my team.
Do you think anyone will actually hit the 2,000 mark and if so, how long do you guys think it would take. My goal is to do so, but not sure if its actually possible.
True but to get to his inning pack will take some time and serious playing & grinding (800 ). Until then the price will probably remain the same.
It was an accidental release. It's for the next event.
I agree. 11th inning came out, new event, etc Friday and with 2000 needed to complete the 11th inning program, people are trying to grind it out as far as they can. The servers will probably be spotty if it's content related a while unfortunately.
It might take me a while, but I plan to go out with a bang and complete the whole 11th inning program all 2000 . It's not completely impossible if you grind it out dailey and play games as much as possible.
Thanks for all your inning info. Much appreciated.
I was curious how long does it normally take you to get 900 in an inning program.
Yep. Every time its the same line up with 99 Trout on the bench and Topps Now Turner leading off.
