Maybe I'm the odd one out but I like the conquest maps. Easy rewards and I like the hidden packs that pop up. Reminds me of the board game Risk.
The part that makes me mad about the game is that I should not need to spend money on a monitor or adapters for my controller to be somewhat sucessful.
We need a Tim "Rock" Raines.
Gagne in the first pack. Hornsby in the second.

Miggy 99. Worst Version of his card ever.
I believe everyone would agree. He is unusable.
Perfect Perfect linedrive smoked at the left handed First baseman who catches the liner across his body and tags out the runner leading off first in the same motion. Perfect Perfect double play.
Considering I will not be able to complete these, I'm glad none of them are guys I want for my squad.
Huge win for me. I pulled a DeGrom!

LS Chapman is beastly on a budget if you’re like me and can’t afford his Sig
I second this. He is the lowest rated guy in my pen and still my closer.
They just need to make an option to do offline. Make the stats needed higher and still make it a grind. I hate playing online.
I feel like I have played against guys in quick count events that were just automatically taking, even with 2 strikes. They would get a couple walks and then decide to swing and hit a 3 run bomb.
Tough call. Cobb is not in my lineup because of too many OF already (Trout, Griffey, Soto, Mantle, Bellinger and Randy) but in the Central Event everyone was using him and he was raking. I do like Betts, especially vs righties but if I play him anywhere it is 2nd base. Honestly, I would try both out. They are really not expensive and you could always sell the one you don't like.
It kind of depends on the level. I suck so guys like Orel and Maddux are terrible at lower levels. But at HOF the movement they get is outstanding. I often use Walter as my 5th guy and bring him in for relief situations. He is amazing if you can control him.

If you want to end the game just strikeout on purpose and strike them out til the games over. I’m sure there is various reasons people do it. Probably a good amount of people that quit not really knowing what’s going on and actually give the opponent the win.
Yesterday I thought I quit and exited the game, had to take the dog out. Come back in 10 minutes later and my opponent is just crushing my auto pitcher. It happens.
I feel like he is one of my better pitchers that I can actually control. He seems to hit his spots well. Problem is he does not have much break on his pitches so very easy to sit on one.
Put Bellinger in the OF. Then when you get Mantle you can sell or move him to bench. Yes, I know thats alot of coins on the bench, but who cares the game is almost over.
@Ikasnu said in Why you should be using 2020 PoTM Aldaberto Mondesi:
He may in fact be the best card in the game. Of course this is strictly based on my own opinion and experience so others will vary, but I am a firm believer in the above statement. The only player whom I believe may be better offensively is Griffey and or Mantle. Here are some reasons... 99 speed, 99 stealing. If you haven't discovered it yet, speed is one of the most important attributes in this game next to power. If you're a scrub like me, you also understand how effective bunting is in this game. 7 stolen bags in RS in 7 attempts, he's basically standing on second the moment he reaches first. 125/125 vs LHP. Swinging over .600 for me (and im not even bunting) the power mondesei brings to the table serves two purposes. 1 being the long dong. The second being... Vs RHP, auto shift plays defense deep You can hit bloopers for days with a contact swing and Mondesei's 60 power vs rhp. This also serves as a counter to... Baiting and beating the bunt defense. With his incredible speed many people assume auto bunt vs rhp, which is completely justified considering his bionic legs. But with the combination of 60 power, deep defense, 2b in, the right side has a hole so big, even the largest of men can't occupy this space. Gold defense at 2B Since SS is going to always be occupied by Trevor Story, Mondesei can provide elite defense at 2B thanks to his incredible speed. Try him out if you havent. UPDATE I firmly believe him to be the best card in the game. Since I posted this I am still hitting over .500 with him. A lot of players I am facing use the auto shift and play very deep. My average vs RHP is around .600 while vs LHP is around .400, very few AB vs LHP unfortunately. Absolutely the best card in the game and a perfect lead off hitter. Bloop singles followed by Trout blasts for days.

Speed to me is the most important. Sure the long ball is nice but speed can make a big inning without the ball leaving the yard. I have trouble using guys who are slow. Heck even Soto makes me angry sometimes. Been using Realmuto at catcher because he at least has some wheels. I like Freeman over Bellinger at first but Bellinger can run. Still have not figured out what to do with Machado.
DId you post this on Muthead today? I thought you were playing Madden?
DO you think we will get to pick our side? Man has a distinct advantage.
I was thinking the same thing. Ill be waiting till next August before my Billy Wagner order gets filled. People have stubs and want these cards but there are just so few on the market.
