Worst version of this game in SEVERAL years!

They bragged that they improved fielding and it's worse than ever. They have tried patching issues, but it created just as many issues as they were trying to solve.

Worst version of this game EVER!!!!!

I know it's been touched on with other posts, but I feel like SDS needs to hear more people complain about this before they do anything about it. They bragged about improved fielding, but it's worse IMO. If that is their selling point, they are doing a horrible job!

    RE: Drafting in RTTS

Showcase games matter, but you will still get drafted in late rounds. I did well in the showcase and was a 60 overall. My friend did bad and he was a 53 overall. Might not make a big difference in your career, but it's not for nothing.

I've been playing this game for 10+ years. This game sucks.

    RE: Is RTTS rigged?

You may be on to something. I'm like a month into the season on the Red Sox in 2024 and we are the 1st ranked team. Contact, Power, Fielding, Pitching, Speed all in the top 10. We are in last place in the division and the Rays are the only other well ranked team.

I've experienced a fair amount of what you are touching on in this thread too.

RE: Does anyone else turn PCI off?

I turn PCI off. Anything you are experiencing is just this game being stupid. My friend and I play a franchise against each other every year an we've never had as many problems as we've had with this year's game. Swing analysis lies and tells you whatever it wants. This game didn't used to suck, but I don't think I will be buying any other version after this atrocity.

RE: Is The Show 20 RTTS worth it?

As a mainly RTTS player, it has its pros and cons. With the tweaks they've made, I'm personally glad I bought it. Sure, it's not perfect and is arguably a worse game, but I honestly didn't have that high of hopes for many new features with them adding complete minor league rosters (Tim Tebow is in the game). That and it's the last one they aren't going to be focused on making it for a new system. There wouldn't be much of a point for it to be completely different, since they've had years to toy with that on the PS4.

Yelich was a good left fielder, he won his GG at that position.
    He's a below-average right fielder

I glanced at his career stats. His struggles mostly came in CF from what it looked like. Either way, a career .990 fielding percentage should not equate to 68 fielding at age 28.

Fielding percentage does not = the fielding stat. Fielding percentage is not a good way to judge how good or bad a player is

I can definitely agree with that, but his stats make him a liability in the field. Not at all the case in real life.

RE: How to adjust rtts camera

I've looked and couldn't find anything. I also don't like the new camera settings. The camera followed the ball perfectly on one at bat tonight, and it was so satisfying. They need to fix that for sure.

    Christian Yelich

Can anyone explain this to me, because I'm struggling to make sense of it. The game has a built in audio recording about Yelich winning a gold glove and to not test his arm either. Yet, you defecate all over his attributes:

    68 Fielding
52 Arm Strength (Yeah, wouldn't want to test that)
    47 Arm Accuracy
    68 Reaction

This literally makes less than no sense.

    RE: Christian Yelich

Oh, ok. I suppose that makes sense then. Maybe I'm just a bitter Brewers fan ever since they slighted Ryan Braun's speed. That man would consistently get multiple infield hits in a season, yet I think his highest speed was 68.

Old audio. I think his Gold Glove was like 6 years ago.

They really need to re-do 100% of the commentary, I’m tired of the stuff carried over for years already. And how hard is it for them to get Vasgersian to be able to say the name “Gleyber”?
“Up next: ... Torres.” For 2 years now. Come on.

I agree, it was probably old audio, but someone's fielding and arm doesn't fall off like that at his age. It's atrocious.
