Outside of the last inning, they'd typically do at most 2 maps an inning. And we've already had 2 (if you count Tebow)

There was a date on the screen during the DD stream.
We may still get content, but we aren't getting Ramone & Pals to bless our computer screens any time soon.
There's going to be a stream tomorrow. The personnel involved is still TBA.
"You cam do it as many times as you want" indeed!
It's entirely random. Between 18 and 19, I went over 10 months without packing a Diamond.
So far in 20 (with 81 packs opened so far), I've gotten Realmuto, Cole, and Bagwell.
It's just dumb luck.
Sadly, we cannot create Franklin the Puppet as our CAP.
I don't think the virus has to do with anything. They likely had all of this year's content planned months ago. The content team probably knows who each of the inning bosses will be this year, which player programs are going to be released when, etc, and all the moments are already programmed into a dev kit. They don't just randomly start working this on a thursday to have it ready for release on Friday.
ALL OF THIS ... except the part about the virus. With no games being played for the foreseeable future, they're probably re-evaluating all their plans to see how that would affect everything they've got in the hopper.
For example, if they were gonna do Home Run Derby cards again this year ... how you gonna do that if there's no Home Run Derby?
The main problem with your theory is that you don't even know the infrastructure of SDS and who is responsible for what. You don't know if they even have a designated 'content team.' Even if they did, you don't know if their 'content team' are the same people responsible for online gameplay. So....
Except that we do. Stephen Haas and Luis Martinez (the non-Ramone guys on almost every stream) are heads of the Live Content team.
Do you hold late-90's MLB with the same disdain?
As long as their jersey doesn't include a certain symbol associated with a mid-century German leader or other obscene imagines, c'set la vie!
