I don't get it. I play for an hour and a half just to lose on the last boss and then have to start all over. And this is fun? At least let me go back just to the last boss. At least reward me for making it this far. Make me pay the entrance fee again, fine. But make me start over and slog my way through another hour? There is no joy in this.

I have a question: It seems rude to use the quick menu to adjust my lineup and manage my bullpen since the opponent can do nothing but wait. At least with the pause menu, it looks like they can work on their lineup, too. Am I right in assuming pause menu is preferred? What do you mean it seems rude to use quick menu? LOL Yeah, maybe you should message your opponent first, and ask him if it's ok to pause....you know, get his permission first. LMAO. Dude, grow some balls and be assertive, timeouts are timed, and both sides get an equal amount, so use it however you want without being timid. Not trying to come down on you, just trying to help you snap out of it. Wow. All I am saying is that at least if you Pause the other guy can work on his lineup, too. When you Quick Menu the other guy has to sit there and wait. Not sure why someone always has to be an asshole answering an honest question about game protocol. I wasn't trying to be an a-hole at all. Wow, you really do have soft skin.

I'm not hurt, or triggered, or thin-skinned. But when someone asks an honest question about how to play the game, and you tell them to grow some balls? You might be an asshole.
94 Chipper. All 99's around him, but I can't seem to let him go.
I know a lot of us get on here to complain (including me) about the bad fielding interface, questionable hitting, and more. But here I am -- during the shelter-in-place, with baseball canceled for the foreseeable future -- in Wrigley Field, with the sun setting, the crowd cheering, facing Clayton Kershaw on a cold night, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks.

The reward I want is the 70 DD points.
I am not that good at showdowns. I never even won the 8th inning one against Kershaw. But, putting a closer to pitch the 9th inning one? Piece of cake. After 45 pitches or so he was throwing me grapefruits that landed in the outfield seats more often than the catcher's mitt. Just work the pitch count.

I'm real. Just a little drunk and sentimental is all. I miss baseball.
@ChuckCLC said in Tips on getting 3 XBH with Mark Reynolds?:
Took me forever. Of course they had to put it on rookie to make it harder. Unrealistic pitch speeds and a limited range on the PCI made me have to take like 40 min to do this one. All the others one try.
I agree. I cannot time pitches well on Rookie.

Always a bad sign when the guy on first is wearing a coat.
Target is the worst. I can't see anything coming out of the pitcher's hand during a day game. Miller Park has glare at odd times, it seems, too.
Kershaw. I couldn't even finish the 8th Inning Showdown entering the last game only down by 5. He embarrassed me off the field.
I sold my Espino. Don't have Ramos or Bard. Anyone else?

Well, it's 1k a card, for a total of 10k. It's a good amount for commons, I agree. I'm just not ready to call it a killing.

I was lucky enough to finish the rockies collection before the season started as he was a later add to the game.
Yea, the fact that the season did not start until July helped a lot of us. There were no Live roster changes. This was my first year completing the collection.

Pudge for me. Any version
By the time I earned the Pudge card from the player program, I wanted to burn it... and my PS4. How many lazy fly balls can one player hit?
Only advice I can give (and it is often given) is work the count. I took as many pitches as I could. And had a couple hitters foul off quite a few. By the time Jansen was over 40 pitches he was in-the-red tired and I started hitting him hard. I scored the 8 runs I needed with 12 outs to spare.

This 9th inning showdown is a fantastic stub farm
Yea, it was. I might actually repeat it. The 10 packs from the second-to-last boss were nice, too.
