Well, just wrapped up The Showdown portion of the Extreme Program. Luckily, I got it on the first try! I know some might be struggling with this right now, so thought all who have completed it could offer a few words of wisdom on this thread...
My number one tip would be to WORK THE COUNT. The cpu WILL walk you. I try to get the perk that gives you a contact boost with 2 strikes and I never swing until I get 2 strikes on me. Also, try to have at least one super fast bench guy that you can pinch run when you get the winning run on base.
Now I guess I’m off to take on Conquest. Those moments look pretty dang tough. We’re in for quite the weekend haha. Best of luck on your EXTREME endeavors fellas, we’ll get through this together!

I’ve been running Machado at 3B, Tatis at SS, and Seager at 2B. Personally, Machado has kinda been underperforming for me. Seager, on the other hand, has been the best hitting card for me all year. But at the end of the day, just play who YOU are good with. Good luck!
Machado is too slow to play SS imo.

With all the great outfield options, I’m curious to see what outfield alignments y’all are running out there. I’ve been mixing and matching to see who’s playing best for me. But for now, I have Soto in LF, Trout in CF, and Mantle in RF. I’m big on outfield speed, but I just couldn’t bring myself to leave Soto’s bat out of the lineup. I had to squeeze Finest Belli in at 1B. I feel dirty leaving guys like Griffey, Cobb, Walker, Betts, etc off the team haha. Planning on making a WS push this season for Mays, but we’ll see..

He’s an endgame card and at this point in the game people have plenty of stubs and not much to spend them on.
I would strongly suggest doing some Run It Back showdowns. Takes less than an hour. Quick way to farm some pretty decent players, or you can sell them for at least 30K a pop.
Good for grinding out Finest Prestige programs, so I’m cool with it.
