I know some people are frustrated with the game and others are not. I know we all might not agree. We start fueds that continue on other threads. We watch members go back and forth and then we take our sides and rally around those who agree with our opinion. Sometimes it gets heated but...
I'm thankful for this forum because if it wasnt for you complainers, defenders of the game, bunt dancers and patch analysts....The Show would end when I turn off my ps4. You cant discuss Patch 1.08 with a perfect stranger waiting for your Coffee at your local Starbucks
This forum is like Sportscenter lmao. Everyone coming together at the end of the night to share highlights of their experiences. We may not all agree upon the state of the game but we all agree The Show Nation is pretty dope.
So in conclusion I'm thankful for all of you...even the ones I've blocked lol

Has anyone seen the video Trevor May put up entitled " My outfield is broken " ....its not really just the outfield but other aspects of the game that haven't been fixed...to his throwing partners real life velocity being incorrect...and no urgency on infield throws.
- editor's note
To those who are going to bash this post I understand velocity of a pitcher being correct is not that big of a deal...but the others....ehhhhh
What I don’t understand about showdown is why they label challenges as rookie or veteran but they play so much different and harder than that.
I can go play conquest, MTO, or vs. cpu on all star and bat around my lineup fairly frequently in an inning. However I struggle to even get on base in rookie and veteran showdown challenges???? It makes no sense.
If they wanna keep showdown this challenging fine, but I think it aggrevates most of us when we go in feeling confident that we can handle these only to find it doesn’t play the way it’s advertised.
I really like the idea of the mode and the way its set up, but it frustrates me even more than ranked seasons.
They came out last year and admitted that the moments labeled at veteran and rookie were not actually at the level. Midseason they changed it and moments became bearable. What turned me off was why would a company deceive its consumers?
Once I saw this it changed my view. I dont want to call it lying but if u can deceive us in one aspect...what other aspect are we being decieved in that just hasnt been revealed yet. Remember they didnt come out and say it...we had to complain and gripe until the jig was upposted in Diamond Dynasty
My hittings gone cold I'm wondering why...I turned on the game at all...the fastballs mess up my timing window...and I cant see them at all....even if I could it would not be great...a perfect perfect caught at the wall...it reminds me..my hitting is bad...my hitting is baaaaaaadposted in General Discussion
A 125 may as well be a 75 if he can't place pitches despite high numerical ranking.
Can SDS explain within the context of the game what I am failing to do consistently to achieve a desired pitching result
I hit corners all day.
You must be the player determined to be at a disadvantage in most of your matchups. Lol jk. I'm calling sarcasm because..
1.) Hitting the corners is difficult
2.) If you hit the corner the chances of the umpire calling it are slim to none...and slim just died.posted in General Discussion
How can you explain when you square many balls for routine outs but on the other hand your opponent hits a good/okay and it’s a 347949393 foot bomb.
Don’t tell me skills count in this game. Sometime the game wants you to take the L. I’ve taken undeserved Ws and they don’t feel very well to be honest.
Since day one we’ve been asking for a fully skill based game. Give me what I earn, nothing else.

we are getting verdugo and apparently a very intriguing pitching prospect from the twins.
"Brusdar Graterol, who goes from #MNTwins to #RedSox in three-team blockbuster, has many fans in scouting community. Only 21, throws 100+ mph, elite potential. Said one evaluator: “He is a DUDE.” "
They* ......the correct word is "they"posted in General Discussion
The amount of posts all reporting the same BS happening has overwhelmed the defenders and they are out of excuses.
We now even have real MLB players disgusted by the gameplay, great idea by the way SDS.
I think we deserve an apology, after all, we were right and your excuses proved to be nothing but fake news.
Why do you care so much about other people’s opinions? You’ve got way too much invested in everybody else’s opinion and it’s sad, get a hobby. (Upvote before he reports me and I get banned again)
We have found the defenders...posted in Diamond Dynasty
Because people keep pumping money into the game for DD. It doesn't matter if the gameplay is good or not, as long as they are getting the amount of extra money from people buying stubs. I'm not saying this to hate on people who do buy stubs, if you have the money and want to spend it on this game that's fine ( I bought some the first year I ever played DD, but have not and never will again for something that is only good for one season) but they will never fix the many many issues they have in all the other modes if people keep doing that. Franchise is basically unplayable now because all their resources have gone toward Diamond Dynasty, which is understandable from a company stand point but you lose the fan base that supported the original version of this game that was all about franchise

@Nats19Champions said in Online play has become a disaster:
I wish I could post a screenshot although I did email it in to the Show team, but I lost a game last night because of a bad call at first that was even worse than Jim Joyce in the perfect game. My runner's foot had crossed the bag literally 2 full seconds before the ball hit the fielder's glove, yet was called out.
Then, in my next game, I was up 3-0 late when everything froze. I left the game on the screen and checked my internet connection, which was running fast and flawlessly. After about an hour, I turned off the game and sure enough, I received a loss despite perfectly working internet and being well ahead in the game.
I am done with online play and certainly with buying stubs or next year's game until you fix these ridiculous bugs and also crack down on cheaters. Playing online is supposed to be fun, instead it's been ruined by glitches and those who exploit them. Enough is enough.
Same story every year. Game plays near perfect couple flaws. First patch...down goes hitting. Then we put a tent on the circus of them trying to get it balanced.
Everyone says give it time. It gets closer to summer and then people say just give it a rest they have focused on next years game.

I'd love honest responses..
I can't see how anyone who plays regularly can say its enjoyable. The gameplay is so poor, even for the Show
Every basic aspect of the game is majorly flawed and its so obvious its truly shameful
Who has fun playing ranked seasons??
" Not I " said the Cat.
" Not I " said the Mouse.
" Not I " said Trevor May

I can see not giving every minor league stadium, but they could have a fan vote to pick the top 4 or 5 MiLB stadiums... Thoughts?
I would prefer having non milb stadiums to avoid licensing or any other problems that might occur. I wouldn't even be opposed to even putting them behind a program to get unlocked. They would be profitable because everyone would be anxious to play on them. Even though they could use them offline.
They could do a set of 5 fantasy stadiums.
A futuristic ball park. Exaggerated look into what stadiums would be like in the future
Field of Dreams
The Sandlot (not exact but a city yard or makeshift field) example dumpster in right is in play...quirky stuff. Of course mlb dimensions
High school field but still big league dimensions.
Mock little league field with crowds on the grass and kids sliding down on cardboard.
I think it would be cool given I already like the details in the current minor league stadiums. Even though it's been about 5 years or so lolposted in General Discussion
