This game is why I own a PS4
I have owned every single show game that has come out and never really understood the hype around using a monitor. Bought one three weeks ago and oh my God... it absolutely changes the game and your ability to time up the ball. I didn’t even think it was possible because I was so used to the horrendous reaction time on a television and was striking out so much.
The point: if you play this game a lot, dropping a couple hundred dollars on a monitor is so worth it.

Thankfully I’ve grown out of my habits of being like Puig and launching the controller across the room. A much more calm flipping up in the air and letting it hit my ceiling and land on the bed.
I am the same way, but this case was different. Had my girlfriend chirping in my ear/threatening to turn of the PS4 all game while getting completely shut out when I was two games away from WS tier. Never getting married; my MLB The Show career would be over.
My buddy (AJudd09) and I (W1LDB1LL01) are looking for an active league, we keep joining leagues but sit there for weeks only for these leagues to never get past the starting phase.
Lets just say you have every player on the game unlocked....who is your every day lineup based on your own preference and playing experience? Feel free to add who you think the best pitcher on the game is in your lineup
Larry Walker..smacks both lefties and righties
What are some batting stances you guys prefer? I have started hitting really poorly with my created player and his attributes are unreal with the equip. I have on him. I have tried using the stances of some of my favorite guys to hit with on the game and I am still batting below .250 with him.

@MLBTHEJOE said in Preferred Batting Stance with Created Player: You’ve got to try this stance. I swear Veteran stance 151 is insanely good! I don’t use a cap. But for one of my RTTS players he’s a Switch hitter. It’s Jonny Gomes stance. Even though Jonny Gomes was a righty, batting left handed with his stance is great I have been playing this game forever but sadly I dont know what "cap" is? explain

Update Nevermind I figured it out

Sounds crazy, but Vidal Brujan has outplayed every single SS I’ve tried out this year. Glitchy swing that can put the ball outta the yard, gets to every groundball, and steals bags easily. Been my leadoff since he dropped, and a huge part of my WS run!
Could not agree more, has batted lead off for me every single game and is wayyy better than what his attributes state. One of the most consistent hitters on my team
Thanks guys
For how long I’ve been playing this game...I should know how to get this card.. so how do I unlock it or is it too late? Couldn’t find it on the market either
While at 884 working to get to WS tier for the first time on this years game, I was up 4-0 in the first inning and lost connection for the first time ever.
Does San Diego Studio have any sort of solution for something like this? I feel like any game you lose connection in while winning should not count for anything...especially in the first inning. I figure this has been brought up countless times. Not complaining...just some food for thought. Back to the Grind Though !
So I got signature series Chris Sale the other day thinking I was going to be better with him this year ( went 4-5 with him last year).
I feel like his side arm release is easy to pick up and does not have put away stuff. Is there any sort of pitching strategy I should use with him or should I just accept I am not good with him and put him back on the market.
You didnt mention him but Larry Walker is probably my favorite lefty hitter on the game. Decent speed, and not too much of a liability in LF

The one YOU like the most
Thanks for recommendation.
I like playing around with different batting stances. Too many guys on the game for me to sit there and shuffle through them
