I'm doing it no matter who it is. I'm an obsessive collector in this game.
I don't even care who it is. I just like having an excuse to collect stuff.
I prefer the slow buildup. If I had things my way,, it wouldn't even be possible to get a non-live series diamond until at least a month into the game cycle.

What I"m tired of is the years of whining because we weren't able to pick our pitcher, followed by even more whining after the developers gave us exactly what we wanted because people aren't picking the pitchers we think they should.
I do think they should tweak the stamina so there's a more severe penalty for not sticking to a five man rotation, but beyond that I'm fine with pitcher selection how it is.
I'm an obsessive completionist that locks in everything as soon as I get it and never sells a card that I dont have duplicates of No assets to liquidate here lol
They were pretty easy I'm terrible at this game and it probably took less than an hour for me to finish them all
Last year there was a really good honus wagner card that you could earn by collecting a significant number of cards from all of the different collections, and everyone on here seems to think that they'll most likely do something similar this year so I've just been buying up every fairly cheap card I can to prepare.
There was an easier way to help everyone and it doesn't even require adding new content. Just make the stat missions repeatable.
The Community in 2019: Pitching roulette sucks! Why can't i pick my pitcher?
The Community in 2020: Energy meter sucks! People aren't picking the pitchers that I want them to!
I sat down to try some of the new moments today and thought to myself "These are pretty tough. Its gonna take some effort to finish this program." Then I grabbed some popcorn and logged into the show nation, because I remembered that anytime new content is released that isn't so easy a mentally handicapped monkey could complete it blindfolded, there's sure to be some hilarious whining in the community. You guys never disappoint
On moments where I need strikeouts, I have the most luck throwing what the catcher calls but aiming the ball very slightly out of the zone. Especially on rookie and veteran, the cpu is usually dumb enough to chase.
The last market crash just happened to hit right when trout was all i needed for mantle, so I ended up getting him for like 180k. Hopefully you run into some similar good luck along the way :).
When I got mantle, i started buying up all the reasonably cheap cards I could in preparation for the collection. Now I'm working on getting a couple of the more expensive cards I've wanted for awhile but couldn't afford while I was working on all of that. I got banks a couple days ago, almost have the stubs for chapman and then i'm thinking about getting dibble.
I've seen some wonky stuff happen when the extreme catch indicator pops up in the outfield, but other than that I've had zero issues with fielding since the patch. I can't even remember the last time I made an error that wasn't caused by poor timing with the meter or me just being an idiot.
Prestiging has actually made online more fun for me. I find myself quitting a lot fewer games than in the past, because even if I know I'm gonna lose theres still something to play for. I did enjoy the grind of 18 though, so I have no problem with an offline prestige option as long as they make it difficult enough thst players can't just bash the computer on rookie and have everything done in a week.
I only quit when I'm completely outclassed and its late enough in the game that there's no hope of victory. My time is valuable, and I'd rather not waste it playing every last out of a lost cause just so my opponent can stroke his ego by padding stats against an inferior player
These moments were super easy. I did all but one of them on the first try. I don't know if my timing was off cause I'd been playing the event or the card just sucks, but the kike moment took me like 20 minutes for some reason. I was getting really annoyed lol
Sometimes I think it's a blessing that I suck at this game, because playing at the lower levels of RS I almost never run into all the toxicity and cheesing everyone complains about. 99% of the time I get a straight up game against someone who's pretty close to an even match.
I'm not sure if weaker players aren't smart enough to learn all the exploits or they just know they'll probably never make world series so they don't have the same hyper competitive win at all costs mentality as players at the higher tiers, but my experience with RS has been mostly positive.
Events are where online can sometimes get annoying, but it's not like your record matters there so if I run into a toxic player I just quit and move on.
I'm torn between Posey and Sandberg. Posey would replace Biggio, and Sandberg would replace Minoso at 3B.
