I have to take Maddux, even if he is underwhelming. I may buy Glavine back, So I'll have Maddux, Smoltz and Glavine, finally.
And I'll probably get pounded in every start by each of them, but I'll have the trio, so it doesn't matter I guess.
Not a big deal to most, certainly not to those here in the house, but I finally got the prestige Chipper. I needed 2 runs, played some event games and Chipper went yard twice.
Great feeling seeing him unlocked as a reward, better than Trout!
I reached 200 stars last night, got the two HL packs. In the Vida Blue HL pack I seen that lovely blue card show up. I figured it was Vida, but seen the animation for a 90+ LS SP.
Still worried I was gonna get Bieibered, I pressed X and Verlander shows up! I didn't know he was going for about the same as Trout. Oddly it was hitting a HR of Verlander in the Rendon moments that got me to 200.
Bought Cobb, guess I'll take Pudge at 300, give him a try. Sorry for the novel, but shocked I pulled a good card for a change, been awhile.
Didn't get to the series, but finally won a playoff series, 2 to be exact! Not many had the Braves doing much against the Dodgers, so taking it 7 games was a hell of a fight. Took 10 years of my life, that series.
Congrats to the Dodgers as well, hope you guys finally get your ring. Alex needs to resign Ozuna for 3 years and add a SP or two.
Seems like I hardly play offline anymore, only at the start of an Inning or when a new conquest map drops. That said offline prestige would be very nice. Maybe make something like 90 hits vs the CPU on All Star difficulty or higher, so that way it isn't just a repeat of 18.
I would be nice to have both options though.
I hope next year we can save our event lineups. I never go on long runs, seems like settin1g the lineup takes longer than my event run.
"George likes his chicken spicy."
In his autobiography, Lou Brock, recalling how he asked a young man he thought was a clubhouse aide for a Coke before the 1967 All-Star Game: "He hesitated for a moment but then went and got the Coke and said, 'You're Lou Brock, aren't you? Pleased to meet you. I'm Tom Seaver."
RIP Lou and Tom.
I say SDS should make Xbox users use commons and bronzes for all of 21.
Won 4 event games, which pushed me to 300 stars, so I got an extra Griffey. Sold him, and with the proceeds I am able to finish the LS collection, just waiting on the orders. Also got Prestige Maddux last night, so I was happy.
Is Mantle still a viable option in the OF, or is he a bench bat now?
@skywalker_25 said in Do you think we will get a third wave of Run It Back cards?:
I posted this in another topic, but here is a list of cards that still don't have a Prime/SS/Awards card and have lower diamond cards in the game: Troy Percival Dale Murphy Steve Bedrosian Dan Plesac Ryan Braun Keith Hernandez David Price Monte Irvin Eddie Murray Brooks Robinson Edgar Martinez Cliff Floyd John Olerud Robin Roberts Jason Isringhausen Willie Stargell Mark Prior Bill Mazeroski Jack Morris Omar Vizquel Keith Foulke I feel like they have enough players that would fit that 93-98 range to do another RiB pack.

This is a great list, seems perfect for RIB. Maybe make Murray a 99 as the chaser, like they did with Hader.
I've really enjoyed the RIB program, I bang out the conquest every so often when I don't feel like playing RS. This has been a good way to get less popular players decent cards, and with new guys like Olerud, Isringhausen not having a high diamond card yet, it seems like a third set would be a great way to release them.
I know that other than Hader the cards aren't "endgame", but they are fun to mix in for a new team build. Anyway, hope we see a part three, and I hope this comes back next year.

Dang, I should have checked the forum sooner. I gave up on Glavine for a bit, ended up buying Pujols. I don't think I had him last year, or the year before. So I guess I'll try him out. There were no million stub orders, so that kinda worries me. Either nobody wants Pujols, or he is so good everyone wants to keep him. Hope it is the latter.
Thanks for your offer, I may reach out in a week or so if Albert doesn't work out, if you are still willing to part with Glavine.
@jz2016cubs said in Anyone have a SS Glavine they want to get rid of?:
I don't. Sorry. Otherwise I would!
No problem! Luckily there is only 2 orders for 1 million stubs, so it shouldn't be too long of a wait.
I have a 1 million stub order in. I was going to get Chipper, but 21 will be out by the time I would have him. Silly me sold Glavine when he was going for 300k.
Anyway, if anyone has a Glavine and wants to sell, thanks in advance!
@Guavacado12 said in Is SS Rivera still a solid BP option online?:
Yes bro he's amazing, especially if you prestige him, which you can do in the U.S. of Baseball East event in a few weeks.
Good to hear, I take him at 500 then. That should let me take Foxx or Wagner in the 9th Inning, as Jansen seems like a similar pitcher. Of course that will be quite awhile.
Thanks for the info, appreciate it!
Closing in on 500 stars, already have Walker, Ortiz looks like a fun card but I have way too many 1B. I struggled with the low diamond Rivera online, is his SS solid?
Would be replacing Finest Neshek with Mo.

He's easily the best first basemen in the game. I'd think he'd hold value more then the pitchers even at the lowest reward mark. My reason is I'm a terrible hitter, but I hit somewhat okay with Finest Freeman. So he doesn't have a place to play, and his strike zone is too big for me. I think Cody Bellinger is actually an inch shorter than Freddie Freeman. He probably is, lol. I guess his stance makes it seem like he has a big zone to me or something. Just can't hit with any of Bellinger's cards. I would give it some time. I don’t like huge strike zones either, but there’s something about the Bellinger cards - they just seem to hit the ball really hard.

I might give him a try then. I don't know of any cards in the 600k range that could help my team anyway. No harm in giving him a chance I guess, he looks amazing, and when I've faced him in the event he has hammered me.
