Having various pitch speeds and various timing windows in different RS Divisions is absolutely ridiculous. Keep everything else the same on every level and only adjust the PCI size for each level accordingly. That's it. (As for which pitch speed to use...the pitch speeds should be fast enough so that the 4 seamer is effective).
Having different pitch speeds for different divisions is absolutely ridiculous. Keep pitch speeds the same (HOF or whatever) and decrease the PCI size as you move up into other RS divisions.
It has only been a few games thus far, but giving Mookie 62 Speed and 75 Arm Strength is grossly inaccurate. He should have more like 85+ Speed and 95+ Arm Strength.
Does this look like 75 Arm Strength?: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BZnidDPf7YU
C'mon SDS, fix this card ASAP.
It's not as simple as that....Kersh' playoff problems, is due to many factors. I am not saying Kersh should not get his share of blame, but there is plenty of blame to go around.....for many years the organization really put him in extremely difficult situations and frankly wouldn't have even made the postseason without his arm. For several years he was all they had, basically, and was pretty much used up before the postseason even started.
Yeah, and I am especially happy for veterans like Kersh, Jansen, and Turner etc.
Every year it seems that RS plays worse than Events, or anything. It's like there is always poor connection or something. Weird...

Let's gooooooo!
It is surprising how bad SDS made fielding this year. It's like they ran out of time or something and couldn't finish their coding before the release date. Ie -- My Pitcher is standing in the middle of the baseball indicator and cannot lock on to the ball so it drops at his feet...or my outfielder runs down a line drive and the ball hits his chest or goes right past him. SMH. This is the worst fielding of any Show game that I can remember.

I'm a silver 26, so it is going to be a couple weeks at least. I should have taken him at silver 1, I took Larkin. Larkin has been okay, but Reggie should've been the pick. I'm almost tempted to take Rickey when I get to 40, I think? I took Hal already, and I really don't need Kluber. I mean I know he is a great card but pitching just isn't a need at the moment. I think I'll try a Mookie/Granderson platoon, I honestly forgot I had Granderson. @abbyspapa said in I need a new RF: Sorry, the correct answer is: Gallo, who is Joey Gallo....and that's another daily double off the board. I would jump on Gallo, but with me being a trash hitter that vision just scares me off. Of course I can't seem to get past WC this year so the difficulty shouldn't really matter for vision I guess. You guys have gave me some good suggestions, Granderson for sure, Mookie. So I have some options. Maybe the next headliner will be a crazy good OF.

BO Vlad from the Nats collection is a good option also...has great swing, of course, and plays better D than his card attributes show.

Just read that GameStop with have some in tomorrow (21st). Didn't say what time though.
I thought I had one, but when I clicked "Add To Cart" it was already sold out. Same experience with BB and Walli. Those bots are difficult to complete with....of course there is one going for $25K on ebay.
@raesONE said in Cobb or Mookie?:
Cobb, leadoff drag bunt -> steal 2B -> steal 3B -> sac bunt for a guaranteed RBI. That's how to abuse this game.
LOL....No to this, there are enough cheesers as it is.
Doesn't SDS usually put out a notice by now informing us to upload our logos in order for those things to be transferred over to the new game? Them not asking for that yet may be another indicator of a possible delay in the release date.
SDS, please add the player lock option to the Batting Order screen, like it used to be (using the R3 stick). That way you could choose whatever uniform you wanted and still have your player locked. Thanks.
I hear you though, OP... For me, it seems as though the better setup that I play on, the more difficult the game is....Whenever I play at home, for an example, I have 400mbps ethernet, ps4 pro and game monitor, and the game seems pretty tough (the pitch speeds even seem faster).....However, when I play at my folks house using my phone for a wifi hotspot, a regular ps4, and an older big screen TV (with game mode on though) I seem to do better..... Crazy but true.

Oof. Was it really that bad?
Unfortunately yes, at least in my experience. My 2016 65" LG oled developed burn-in after a couple of years, but thankfully my warranty through Best Buy covered it, and they eventually replaced it with a new 2020 LG GX 65" (after a couple of visits and an attempted repair). Our new one is now being used as our family TV, not games.
The 48", that I am hoping to get, is around $1,500, so that is a steep price to pay for a game "monitor". While any OLED is still at risk for burn-in, I read that the newer LG models were not as suspect to that, as the '16 ones were. The newer ones have a pixel refresher, screen shift, and logo luminous control....so those things, along with running a screen saver, should help prevent that....we'll see.
If you are concerned about the burn-in, which is definitely understandable, you could always wait for a true gaming monitor with HDMI 2.1 to come out, probably by 1st or 2nd quarter 2021 (Eve Spectrum, Asus ROG, Acer Nitro, etc.).
I am actually saving for the LG CX 48 inch TV....With a low input lag of 11ms, HDMI 2.1, ALLM, VRR (Freesync), 4k @ 120hz, etc... This TV is arguably best "monitor" for the ps5, at the moment.
Interesting. Usually the TV has more delay and so it's harder to hit. Was it a newer TV? Game mode? I have a 28" monitor and couldn't imagine going back to a TV.
It is a newer TV with game mode on, so I am sure that helps, but sitting in front of the bigger screen more than makes up for any input lag, from what I can tell with limited experience.
